AJMER: The Indian Railways on Wednesday started work for doubling the track between Ajmer and Beawer. The double lines between these two stations which are 50 kilometres apart will immensely help daily commuters. General manager of North Western Railway (NWR) Anil Singhal also inaugurated many facilities in Ajmer.
Addressing the media, Singhal said that doubling work will help in increasing the speed of trains in this section which in turn will benefit passengers.
He added that the doubling cost for 48.43-kilometre track will be around Rs 225 crore.
