KANPUR: A team of Railway Board visited Pukhrayan on Sunday where around 150 passengers had lost their lives and more than 300 passengers got injured after Indore-Patna express train had derailed on November 20.
The team collected samples of bogies and tracks from the spot and took them for further investigation. Officials of the engineering department were also present during the inspection.
Railway minister Suresh Prabhu, after inspecting the accident site on November 20, had assured to get the cause of the tragedy probed by the technical team.
most the injured passengers, who were admitted to Lala Lajpat Rai (LLR) hospital, have been discharged, and only few patients are being treated in the city including one Ayushi Singh, a native of Indore whose left got fractured in the train accident.
