As the premium train 22679/80 is neither helping Karnataka or J&K people as it stops only at BAY and YG in Karnataka and no stop at JAT this could be made as superfast train and provide stops at TK,ASK,RRB,CTA and RC and JAT in Jammu region to attract more passengers. A couple of days back i saw almost an empty sleeper class bogies as 22679 was on it's way to Katra at JRU.
This slot is free,can start a weekly SF service from UBL/MYS to JAT
To get more stoppages and proper route, one should file a RTI application to know the utilisation. If available resources are wasted like this, how can we develop?
