JAIPUR: A woman along with her infant son was run over by a train near Durgapura railway station early on Saturday. Since the woman was yet to be identified police have not ruled out the possibility of a suicide.
According to police, the incident took place during early morning when a woman aged around 26 years and the child aged around 1 to 2 years were suddenly spotted by the driver of the train while the train was moving at maximum speed.

the railway station and the train left for its destination.
Later, a team of police officers along with doctors and ambulance rushed to the spot and took the mutilated bodies to a government hospital.
"It is not possible that a woman along with her son can come to railway tracks ignorantly. Prima facie, it appears to be a case of suicide. However, anything conclusive could be said only after identification of woman and the post-mortem of the bodies," said a senior police officer of Mahesh Nagar police station.
Police have started efforts to identify the woman by checking the missing reports of various police stations in the city.
