The Vande Bharat Express train, which started between Indore-Bhopal, completed one month on Friday. On an average, 75 per cent seats are going vacant every day in the train which started last month. total 530 seats) are traveling in the train every day. In this train running from 6 coaches, there are 478 seats in the chair car while 52 seats are in the executive class. Railway PRO Khemraj Meena says that top officials will review the train for a month. How to increase passenger numbers will be considered.

Extend the train till Gwalior, it is necessary to reduce the fare

Railways want that the Indore-Bhopal train should be extended till Gwalior. Also, the number of passengers in the Jabalpur-Bhopal train is very less, it should also be extended up to Indore. Railways had said that the fare of trains running with less than 50 per cent passengers will be reduced for a month, in which case the fare of Vande Bharat should be reduced. There is no need to go to the Railway Board for this, this decision can be taken from the zonal itself. The main reason for getting less passengers is the high fare. Due to the reduction in the fare in the scheduled intercity after just 5 minutes from this train, it is running packed up to 95 percent daily.
