എന്ജിന് തകരാറിനെ തുടര്ന്ന് ചെന്നൈ-തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെയില് കോട്ടയം റെയില്വേ സ്റ്റേഷന് സമീപം തുരങ്കത്തില് കുടുങ്ങി. ഇത് ചില തീവണ്ടികള് വൈകാന് കാരണമായി. ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 7.30ന് കോട്ടയം റെയില്വേ സ്റ്റേഷനിലെത്തിയ ചെന്നൈ മെയിലാണ് സ്റ്റേഷനില്നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടയുടനെ എന്ജിന് തകരാര് മൂലം നിര്ത്തിയിട്ടത്. എറണാകുളത്തുനിന്ന് മറ്റൊരു എന്ജിന് എത്തിച്ച് ഒരു മണിക്കൂറിനുശേഷമാണ് ചെന്നൈ മെയില് യാത്ര തുടര്ന്നത്. ഇതേത്തുടര്ന്ന് വേണാട് എക്സ്പ്രസ്സും പരശുറാം എക്സ്പ്രസ്സും വൈകിയാണ് ഓടിയത്. ഇലക്ട്രിക്ലൈനുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഭാഗത്തുണ്ടായ...
