( TRAIN NAME "COROMENDAL" EXPRESS This is One of the Premier trains of IR and SER. And also there is one Call on this train. Dont Expect Too much of your WL's on this train on SATURDAYS (both directions). TN,AP,CORO etc are few of the those premier trains This is Surprising. May be some HO Quotas berths are being used up for these RAC passengers. Normally SLB are allotted for RAC (except Garig rath).. even in 3rd A/c,. SLB is allotted for RAC, but in 2nd A/c it is normal LB allotted for RAC. don't know y its completly rac may b ............wider seats and no MB.......so bttr comfort 4 (double profit) passengers.......... width of seats is same in class 2a and 3a...its the no.of berths per coupe that is reduced leading to low carrying capacity... i dnt think der iz any use of giving rac 2 passengers in 2ac, now d scene iz lyk same 3ac ..... 6 passengers occupying d cabin, same as 3ac ..... Width of the berths(other than SLB,SUB) in 2A is more than 3A. rac exists in all sleeping classes like sleeper, 3a, 2a, and first class. its only the first ac that is devoid of rac. well rac helps in queuing of passengers...in case someone does not turn up, it is allotted to rac...but even your point is valid...one pays so much but still has to share his berth... well, class 3a has 8 partitions...so 8X8 is 64 berths even class 2a has 8 partitions...7X6 is 42+4...hence 8... so are 2a coaches longer than 3a? or else the berths cant be wider... yess exactly, 2ac iz 4 dat purpose only ..... dese r only tricks 2 earn more money 4 railways ..... and i guess after sum dayz, der vil b rac even 4 1ac passengers ..... :p Ordinary FC has RAC...
