Sir,
Having read in newspaper, the possibility of introducing 22 Semi Fast Services on CR by March End and 15 Cars with Ladies Coaches combination, I wish to congratulate you for this remarkable feat. It makes me glad to think that CR has initiated such efforts including the plastic ban for the betterment of journey in a life of Ordinary Mumbaikar.

I will also like to suggest a few more initiates that can go a long way in development of CR suburban network as under:
1. NEW Services
a. Peak hour Fast services between Kalyan & CST. Halts at Kalyan , Dombivli, Dadar & CST
b. Peak Hour Non Stop Fast Services between Kalyan & Dadar, Dombivli & Dadar and Thane & Dadar
c. Semi Fast services between Thane & Kasara. Halts all stations upto Kalyan onwards only at Titwala & Asangaon Stations
d. Peak hour fast services between Dombivli & CSTM. Halts at Diva, Thane, Mulund, Kurla, Ghatkopar & Dadar
e. Peak hour Non Stop Fast services between Thane & Vashi and Thane & Nerul / Panvel
f. Peak hour Non Stop Fast services between CSTM & Vashi / CBD/Panvel

2. New EMU services between Dahanu Road & Panvel.
• Rake sharing with WR.
• Initially, CR & WR can pool in 2 rakes each to run EMU services between Dahanu Road / Vasai Road to Diva / Panvel.
• This will bring travelling times to half.
• Besides DEMU rake can be used for plying new services between Diva & Roha / Chiplun.
• The MEMU rakes can be used for starting new services between Kurla & Shivajinagar via Panvel.

3. Increase in fines for spitting & littering to Minimum Rs. 2000/-
4. Increase in fines for spitting on trains (Gutkha stains) to Minimum Rs. 5000/-
5. Completing electrification upto Roha at the earliest and ensure only Electric Locos run in Mumbai suburban section. This will bring down substantially pollution levels and cost of operations. Thus Diesel Tractions will run after Roha on KR route and after Pune on Main Line. Loco change can be done at Roha & Pune respectively.
6. Completing ACfication upto LTT / Kurla at the earliest to ensure faster commute.
7. Completing laying of additional tracks between Diva & Thane for uninterrupted run of suburban sections.
