Gardens are maintained at Panskura Station on SERSER 's Panskura Jn. has some nice gardening done within the station premises which is maintained by the railways itself.To the left of the picture is Platform no -1 which is used by freight trains coming from and heading towards Haldia.

Good one Mr. Garg. I used to pass this regularly when I was shuttling almost daily between HWH and KGP during 2005-2008. For an entire 30 kms stretch between Deulti and Haur, the countryside on the left was dotted with a large number of fields were FLORICULTURE was resorted to on a massive scale. Lotus ponds, hibiscus and marigolds were the main attractions in season and flowers to the Kolkata market are still supplied from these areas. The wholesale flower market in Kolkata is at Jagannath Ghat, located bang opposite Howrah Station just before the ascent to the Howrah Bridge.

Please see this video of 12129 Azad Hind SF Express skipping Deulti @ MPS. One can see flowers packed in plastic bags near the edge of PF. As informed by the uploader, the place is famous for flowers which the vendors bring to Kolkata flower-market by the early morning EMUs.

I have also herd that the flowers from this place goes upto Patna in Bihar by Amritsar Mail. Don't know how much is true.
I had opportunity to shop flowers from that make and shift market just under the HWH bridge. The market wake up as early as 4am and warped up by 9 am. One needs to be as early as possible to get good quality deal. I saw first ever black roses in that market. This is I am talking is as back as 1988-89. Thanks for reminding my one of the few golden memories and pursued me to visit my young day's diary

I think that this 3 train will be helpful for pasengers.It may run at the morning & afternoon. It will not affect Goods train movement

Please SER we request that Dn not quarrel with ER. So introduce Panskura - Sealdah EMU train for the sake of Midnapur district passenger. Saltlake is very near to Bidhannagar Road station. It is very near to Sealdah

Why new track is need to lay ??? Do you know a rail track already exist from Andul to Dankuni which is known ACC Rail link. Sealdah - Puri duronto run via ACC. So SER train directly can reach Sealdah section.

Age-wise, Coromandel is middle-aged (about 35 years old), whereas Falaknuma has just crossed the teens (BALI UMAR KI HAI). So don't compare the two. Coromandel is the TENDULKAR of SER whereas Falaknuma is VIRAT KOHLI.

Is coromandal better than TN & AP express?
yes coromandel & even falaknuma, godavari, vishakha, char minar etc are much better & faster than TN, AP, Karnataka & kerala express.

Coro and Falknuma is having high preference in this route...TN ,AP are other route trains....
They used to clear signals of 2-3 station for these trains
