Agree! If we call it State wise then SER is also a Bengal State Zone as it has HQ in Kolkata and ties up revenue with ER. but things are not like this!
first thing the new zone should do is changing the schedule of AP AC and taking responsibility of PM of it
Bcoz IR knows that the extension of trains from BBS to VSKP will bring same fate as its of Hirakund. It will incur loss.
You people don't even have little tiny bit of brain to understand this simple thing, if a south bound train is extended to BBS , it will cater both VSKP & BBS, but instead if any north bound train is extended to VSKP from BBS, then it will be loss for IR.

Even if train got extended to BBS, still its going via VSKP city and catering to both cities.

On 12.05.2015 the HWH bound DN Puri HWH Shatabdi Exp was late by 1hour 30 mins and it entered at PF 23 of HWH with VSKP WAM-4 21350 in charge at about 15.15 pm. Accordingly it departed from HWH with VSKP WAM-4 in charge at 16.05pm.(1hour 40 mins late) and reached Puri at 00.15hrs(2hours 5 mins late) at PF 1A on 13.05.2015. My coach was C6. It was a very pathetic experience as because there is "NO WATER SUPPLY" in the Lavatories of the Coach.

Daily many people travel from VSKP, VZM, CPP, CHE, GNPR, PLH, NWP, PSA, SPT, IPM, BAM to BBS/KUR/PURI/CTC to catch long distance trains going towards North India though there are many trains but an ICE starting from VSKP is missing so people have to depend on the weeklies (which is very difficult) in the morning or Train # 17016 Visakha Exp (This starts late and its slow). Similarly people coming from BBS have to depend on Train # 12703 Falaknuma SF exp which is already very crowded. So it would be better if an ICE starts @ 6:00 AM in VSKP.

Electrification has to be done between NWP and GNPR so that there can be EMU's to GNPR from BAM/PSA/VSKP . And also overnight Exp from BBS/PURI is very much needed.
Thats wat if electrification is done .. all the necessary things will be taken care of
