Whatever the bypass routes constructed at katni . Katni will always be a major Junction . It is a major jn on Ald mumbai route .

Many people from Andhra Pradesh visit Amritsar, Golden Temple, Wagah Border etc. There is no direct train to ASR from any place in AP. All they need to do is board a train to NDLS and again take another train which is cumbersome and also many people from North India visit Balaji Temple, Tirupaty. So it will extremely useful if a train is introduced from ASR to TPTY Via NDLS, GWL, JHS, KMZ, R, TIG, VSKP, BZA, RU & TPTY.
Only one train is there from ap to asr.. Vskp-asr hirakud express

Filed an rti to find out the number of seats booked from VSKP to NDLS/NZM in all 3 trains.
this answers the demand from VSKP to capital city when compared to BZA.
not sure, I added up the totals as you said.
Total number of bookings =8321+646+113+7495+844+13129 = 30548.
Total number of days = 365-31(excepting december) = 334.
No of bookings per day = 30548/334 = 91.46
From VSKP originating trains not only VSKP station alone getting benefit. I think we have to calculate DVD, tuni, SLO also.

All gen AC coaches are coming upto 240 berths.
I am checking till where is gnwl exists for all trains.
When there is no avbl of tickets for any at the time of dep, all tickets must have been booked.
Usually, gen quota comes upto 45-50%
Look, we missed out or rather that the data is given only for VSKP / AKP/SCM to NDLS or NZM
For Dakshin and SJ, even AGC and other stations come under Gnwl
For Samata, RGDA, Singapuram Road also fall under gnwl.
So, the data which was given is arguably correct as tickets are booked to AGC, Mathura Etc places general quota is enjoyed.

Dont know whoom to blame for this Railway official or improper planning, but one this is sure in the end its passengers are the one who suffers.
Also it raises one more doubt in my mind, if the train was departed early cant it be recalled to orgiinal station..

This train is a special train, and its part of "" Mukhya Mantri Teerth Yatra "". Even i dont have the TT, will try to figure out the same. In fact i belive Non Avalibility of TT is one reason why apporx 150 poeple missed the train.
Im not sure with the status , as its part of Teerth Yatra...
