First they require land in some stretches and has to be acquired by state government which itself is tiresome task. First instance railway officials I'll be after state govt officers. He can't do nothing for railway projects. I I'll say an example Vijayawada bypass NH is given to gammon India on BOT basis about 3 yrs back from kaza in guntur to gundugolanu in WG DT. Till now work didn't start though the project commencement date is Aug 2014. Though its so important CBN couldnt do anything and hardly takes this matter serious with center. Land acquisition is not completed fully.

are considering a survey to examine the feasibility of laying a direct rail line to Amaravati from major cities. The survey will also include a suitable place to build a railway station,” Mr. Ravindra Gupta said. This apart, the feasibility of developing the New Guntur and Mangalagiri railway stations and linking them to Amaravati was also being studied, he said. Among other things, the SCR would be augmenting facilities for the Krishna Pushkarams at railway stations, including setting up CCTV cameras, foot overbridges, at a cost of Rs. 40 crore. The SCR would be operating 500 special trains and 2,000 coaches for the pushkarams. Railway stations at Vijayawada, Krishna Canal Junction, Ramavarappadu, Madhura Nagar, and Vishnupuram would be spruced up for the mega event. A proposal to run an A/C double-decker train between Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada-Tirupati was also being studied, he said. Passenger-friendly The Guntur Railway Station would also be developed with passenger-friendly amenities, including a deluxe lounge, food plaza, and an air-conditioned dormitory. The west side entrance at Arundelpet would also be developed with a new platform, and a foot overbridge would connect the Arundelpet entrance to platform No. 1, he said. Who would waste such huge amount and travel the whole day in this train rather take a bus? I feel this train needs to be converted into a daytime Inter City Express (ICE) as it perfectly suits that purpose. It will also reduce the load on Janmabhoomi (12805) as people going to Rajahmundry/Bezawada prefer this one. Similarly, there is huge demand for ICE from Bezawada/Guntur to Tirupati (as 17406 Adilabad - Tirupathi Krishna Express is overcrowded) and this can meet that need also. Also there are many people from Tirupati/Renigunta working in Bengaluru and again this train can act as an inter city express for them too and help them reach Bengaluru by night. Also the authorities (SWR and E Co R) have to explain as to who will board a train that departs at 1 a.m. from its originating station Krishnarajapuram, which is far. The train needs to be re-scheduled to start at 5 a.m. in Bengaluru for the benefit of Tirupati-bound (for Balaji Darshan) and from there again its serves as intercity for people going to Bezawada/Rajahmundry as there is huge demand for Tirupati-Visakhapatnam ICE for a long time.
spending huge money is correct,bcz i am not for the concept of suvidha. but what are you guys doing when ECoR proposed for change in TT,its been warned many times here to have a eye on KJM-VSKP as ECOR trying to prove no demand between VSKP and Bangalore. stp such scrap stories and try t stop more trains geting extended.
