A meeting of the civil society members and top-brass of SR might bring about some reprieve for passengers in the region. Various organisations from COIMBATORE, including the Divisional Rail Users Consultative Committee , The Indian Chamber of COMMERCE and Industry and The Coimbatore Railway Struggle Committee attended the meeting with Mr.Rakesh Mishra, GM, SR,. at SALEM on Tuesday.
This is SR GM's first visit to SA after he took over the post.
Besides some of long standing demands, including re-routing of 9 trains to pass CBE by July 2013 when new time table comes to force,the members also had a new set of demands.
