P.S - Quite an outflow of some $$$ from Railway's kitty.

what was the reason?

Not Because of Summer but suspected could be due to internal short circuit...Seems to be around 35 Lakhs burnt a hole in Railway's Kitty.

That will be known in Investigation but suspecting a internal short circuit also explosion of coal gas cylinder inside the coach due to this fire made it worse...

Men at work promptly removed medical relief van attached to this before fire spread else could have been a higher loss...

good job done...

Medical relief itself got into accident.
Luckily, no casualities.

రాజమండ్రి : రాజమండ్రి తూర్పు రైల్వేస్టేషన్లో మంగళవారం అగ్నిప్రమాదం జరిగింది. నిలిచి ఉన్న మెడికల్ రిలీఫ్ కోచ్లో మంటలు చెలరేగాయి. పాత ఎలక్ర్టిక్ వైర్లు దగ్దం చేస్తుండగా మంటలు వ్యాపించాయి. ఈ ఘటనతో ఆ మార్గంలో వెళ్లే పలు రైళ్ల రాకపోకలకు అంతరాయం కలిగింది. రైల్వే సిబ్బంది మంటలను అదుపు చేస్తున్నారు.

may be they want people to use COCANADA Exp. For VSKP also they made Visakaha exp as PQWL recently.

yep you are correct. But they should keep in mind that during summer the floating will be too much from this station. All the trains will be completely packed and will be really difficult to get a tatkal

even from mas-bza some trains qouta also changed to pqwl , in north vskp is also in pqwl it seems all coastal a.p max trains has either pqwl/rlwl . only vskp/cct has some gnwl qouta

But Cocanada is a complete AC trains which is not even a Garibrath.

They should also keep in mind any how peoplw will consider Cocanada during Summer

Just to make more money. If you find that RJy is wl and CCT in Avbl, then you have to book from CCT and change BP which in turn makes money for IR.

You are true but many of them doesn't know about this. and when there is wl from rjy and RAC from CCT then we cannot change the BP until the ticket is confirmed.

i dont know why ir is dng like this.even ogl is given under pq for 12709.although there are plenty of seats available from nlr but from ogl its showing as pqwl.same thing with 12511 from gkp to tvc there are many seats available but from ljn its regrect.does any one knows the reason behind this change

Really I'm not aware of that. Twice I was told that can be changed only if the ticket is confirmed

May be it will run non stop between BZA-RU like the other train or may be they will stop at GDR than ogl.

i dnt knw the exact reason sir.12539/40 has very few stops in its entire journy.so this new one may have some more stopsl.it would be good if it is via bsb bbs bza

yes I always agree that coastal andhra is entirely diff from rest of A.P...agar nazara itna hara bhara ho...toh safar mein Dil Garden Garden ho jaata hain :D

yes sir actually...I also knew that I captured the pic one stn before RJY...after that a huge curve is ahead..but I forgot the name of that stn so tagged it under RJY :)

That's not exactly right. In other areas, the water is scarce and you can only commercial crops where water is less required. But,coastal AP is full of paddy, sugar cane and banana crops where the plant itself is submerged in water.
These pics are closer to Yelamanchili I guess.

yes, its the Kharif time and 2nd crop in mostly in KG areas.

Budameru River Board pic can be updated for passenger reference.

Godavari station board pic can be updated..Station is located on the other side of the bridge...Up train will go through the stn.

Actually, its prohibited to take snaps at this point. There is a caution board for the same.

Annavaram Station Board can be updated...also as seen from the pic catering such a Samosa,Alu Bonda etc are AVL in Station premises if any train stops....

There were no RailFan Pareshan Force inside the train & if they were present o/s,they couldnt chase a moving train :P
So I took not 1 but several pics.:D

Ji....Sahi kaha aapne....station ka naam "Kadiyam". :) and when you traveled the monsoon must have done it's part so the whole region is looking green and fresh.

I once tried doing that from the other side (Kovvur) but at the Beginning/End of the Bridge there is a small cabin for R.P.F or State Police so was heavily reprimanded.Thank God,i survived :) I was actually planning to a take a wide shot of the bridge with empty tracks covering the entire photograph from the foreground to the background,if they had allowed me it would have come off pretty well but........some other time. :)

A ready to reap paddy field looks like this. If this crop is completed, then we cannot call it as desert.
And not many knew that KG basin has 3 paddy crops per annum where only few basin achieve that.
Pic is taken next to the KVR station.

A full grown paddy field near Betgara,Jalpaiguri,West Bengal....Here farmers reap their own crop without any basic facilities of irrigation..They entirely depend upon the Mother Nature i.e.,the South Western Monsoon for the demand of water for their crop...luckily rain here is plentiful....

You can watch it after it reaping and it will look dry. And as I said, AP is called Rice bowl of India. And Rice cannot be grown in deserts FYKI.

Another paddy field near Gumanihat,N.F.R. Here unlike Gujarat & other states where farmers have to largely depend on the irrigation provided by the local authority & STtate Govt,farmers can grow their crops independently without having to worry about the irrigation..But main problem is almost 70% of the crops grown are wasted as these areas are surrounded by some really dense Wildlife Forests,so Wild Animals especially Elephants come in large no.'s to destroy the paddy fields.

PSK Bhai, you havent answered yet whether WB is a desert of not based on the pic posted. Thats very much from WB and the link has been provided.
If WB is a desert, then AP can be a desert. But, why dont you think broad that these are states which supply rice to 110 Crore Indians and a minimum of 5 cr NRI's where rice is exported from AP itself.

Paddy cultivation going on in full swing in Birbhum Distt,W.B. under Eastern Railways....images are clicked on board 15930 Dibrugarh Town Chennai Egmore Exp b/w Kunuri(KNRI) & Siuri(SURI).

Some small river being overflooded & flowing above the Danger Level near Siuri,E.R...These overflooded rivers creates greater dangers to the moving trains & thus TSR is provided which may otherwise cause landslides..a frequent even during the Monsoons across W.Bengal & Assam.

15930 Dn DBRT MS Exp comes to a halt @ SURI,E.R. Still I'm not sure whether this station has sufficient No. of Loop Lines in both Up/Down to call it a Block Category Station.

Mayurakshi, a small river flowing through Birbhum,near Andal Jn....but surprisingly though this river doesnt have any worldwide fame,the amt of water flowing was more than that of Godavari near Mancheriyal.....Mayurakshi is a tributary of Hooghly(The Ganges after diversion from Padma) & pours into Ganga near Tribeni,Hooghly Distt.,E.R.
Eminent Writer,Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay(Author to The famous Apu Trilogy(which won the first Oscar to Satyajit Ray)) wrote many Novels & stories about Mayurakshi & Birbhum.The
