looks like some CR trains
AJJ is one of the best and deserving loco shed. In past few months, WAM4s have been decommissioned in a large number and WAP1s also will soon retire. Why cant G9s be allocated to this shed apart from WAG5/7s even if it is converted to a pure goods loco shed for SR. Almost every other zone has G9 like ECR,NCR,CR,SCR,WR,SECR,etc.

If they made doubling then it will be very useful. MS- dadar / KCG can be rerouted via cgl cj ajj.

TBM is getting developed as 3rd terminal , 2 pit lines are ready , 7 more pitlines to come.

bring CGL-AJJ via MLPM to atlas and marking its progress as in construction. Than those Express trains Existing AJJ-MAS and MSB-CGL routes will be united and thus circular track can be formed for most benefit of sub-urbans. AJJ-PER-MSB-TBM-CGL-CJ-AJJ. CJ will flourish just like Kanchipuram's very busy bus stand. I'm so curious of its Future. Any ETA's for TMLP-AJJ via MLPM?
TBM station is really good and well maintained. For TBM budget I'll only ask for separate Sub-urban ticket counter just like in MAS. SR trys to convince people of UTS app, but seriously its so unpractical and wallet topup charges adds to more burden to traveler...
If the route from cgl to ajj is doubled more express trains and emu can be operated. All passing through chennai central / Egmore bound trains can be diverted... to avoid congestion...
But MAS/MS may start slowly losing importance, since to save time North bound trains can diverted via CGL-CJ-AJJ-RU avoiding congestion...
Agreed. Kanchipuram will gain prominenace . Now railway amenities is very poor in Kanchipuram
Let it be u see Central is more congested during morning hrs due to passing through train. Central is not via station its a terminal. Because this it loose its terminal status. They have to provide water to passing through trains. Loco change tooks time and also affects suburban traffic. U see in mumbai they constructed a bye pass station panvel which is very useful trains coming form south will pass through without touching CST / BANDRA / CENTRAL etc... likewise chennai can do Chengalpattu / ajj is not a distance now a days. From there to city suburban / city buses are available so they can plan to avoid passing through trains in central / egmore.

This special is named to bound for RU but in TT mentioned TPTY! Also This train won't be as useful as AJJ-KPD passengers. MAS-AJJ can be extended till KPD, which will benefit lot of people. Seriously after 12:30 there's no Passenger to KPD only 66017 @ 19:45 and after that 20:30 exist!!!
