few days back i was standing at this station,when i heard announcemnt for trains going towards chennai coming from both the directions!!guruvayur chennai egmore express to go to chennai via tcr and tvc mas express to go to chennai(would not stop here) via wki...are there any other examples in indian railways where trains would reach a common destination but from two different directions?

At 08.05 11025 MMR-PUNE goes to PUNE via KYN-PNVL-KJT-PUNE
At 08.10 11007 CSTM-PUNE goes to PUNE via KYN-KJT-PUNE

LTT-TVC and TVC LTT reach ERS at almost the same time and you can hear the announcement for both the trains which creates confusion between people

no sir,you have got me all wrong...at punkunnam,guv ms express comes from east and goes to west but reaches chennai...where as trivandrum chennai express comes from west and goes to east...it also reaches chennai...both up and down trains...going to same destination in different directions...i have one more example...
At bgp...vananchal daily express...one goes via sbg towards west to ranchi and another vananchal express via kiul goes towards jmp to reach ranchi...towards west...
