Some truth of Agra Etawah new route-- 1. 126km section is single and non electrified. Etawah also does not have proper infrastructure and crossovers for Loco Change, Kanpur already over congested, Condition of Agra Cant also not so much good for loco change. 2. Only 4 Stations in 126km sketch (Shamshabad Town, Fatehabad, Bah, Udi) 3. Three stations have just one loop line... more...

/train/9058/1003/4611 YNK-Kolar is the stretch like this new track (converted frm MG to BG) & slwly loop been created for stations with single track (alike halt)!! Later, this route too will b induced with loops...till then, just DEMU working as one train @ a time for complete stretch!!
Very useful piece of information. This is off topic, so please excuse me in this thread: Looking at the railway map of Penukonda-Yelahanka line, I see that it passes close to Kolar at some point. Now, Yelhanka-Kolar is already BG and Kolar is connected to Bangarapet on SBC-MAS section. If railways can branch off a line from Penukonda-Yelahanka section to Kolar, then trains can get a new link towards Chennai(Trains coming from North i.e. Dharmavaram side)
PKD-YNK track is quite close to CBP bt KQZ!! But if u gonna merge CBP @ YNK-PKD route, what purpose it gonna serve?? After GY/GTL, y any train need to take this route towards MAS, while direct is mch better & coming so close to SBC, making it bye-pass that mach far-off dnt certainly sounds better, as per revenue!!
Mridul Ji Agra se Bhind Route nahi hai. Agra se Etawah Route Hai. Agra se Bhind Jane ke liye Kamet Jn. Se Loco Reversal Karna Padega. Gwalior-Bhind-Etawah Line Aur Agra-Bah-Etawah Line Kamet Railway Station Par Milengi.
