GNT DRM Vijay Sarma inspected NANDYAL stn on sep30-15 becz CRS is visiting on oct2-15...meanwhile he said that by 2016 december the electrification will be completed bet nandyal-guntur and by march2016 the elec work will be completed bet nallapadu-donakonda and the speed will be increased by 110kms
nandyal-vijayawada doubling is in discussion in general manager(SCR) level....the funds should bare/allocate in railway-state govt partnership(50-50) form
GNT - YPR/SBC Via GTL should be doubled and electrified

Everything is ready including sub stations.. Power supply has to be given by AP Electricity board.. I read a news few days back regarding this and an official said power could be given by November...
Even if it is commissioned.. it will be of no use for now.. as rest of the section towards SBC will have to be electrified as well which will take more time...
Filed an rti to find out the number of seats booked from VSKP to NDLS/NZM in all 3 trains.
this answers the demand from VSKP to capital city when compared to BZA.

Total number of bookings =8321+646+113+7495+844+13129 = 30548.
Total number of days = 365-31(excepting december) = 334.
No of bookings per day = 30548/334 = 91.46
From VSKP originating trains not only VSKP station alone getting benefit. I think we have to calculate DVD, tuni, SLO also.

Look, we missed out or rather that the data is given only for VSKP / AKP/SCM to NDLS or NZM
For Dakshin and SJ, even AGC and other stations come under Gnwl
For Samata, RGDA, Singapuram Road also fall under gnwl.
So, the data which was given is arguably correct as tickets are booked to AGC, Mathura Etc places general quota is enjoyed.

The inspection of line is due on 24th August.
New passenger trains to commence soon on YA - NDL line on the completed portion between YA - Nossam. The rest of the section from Nossam to NDL also to finish soon by March 2016. Once completed the same train would be extended to NDL.
There is proposal also to extend AJJ - HX passenger until NDL once the line is completed in 2016.
Not sure about ndl-giddalur.
Kurnool badly needs ice to dmm and bza and few demu's like ad-atp,ndl-hx,krnt-rc are helpful
Hx also required Bza ice and extension of ajj passenger to chennai and ndl passenger train and extension of Tungabhadra express to hx .
Not sure tungabhadra will extend..
hx-nlr train is also needed
