They wont; since PGT have maintenance facilities. Only twist which may happen is in due course of time this rakes will be sent for annual maintenance/POH and ends up with a 86 made passenger Rake (Heritage tourism special) :). We have a similar experience with the famous Push-Pull.

Yep Akhil. Pudunagaram Station on the Palakkad-Pollachi line is the nearest station to my ancestral village of Peruvamba East, which is about 5 kms from there.

I think it will be difficult for PGTN to get back its lost glory even after GC. Eventually PGTN RMM will either be extended to MAQ or to ERS.

RMM-ERS is better option..because RMM-PGT ran as passenger train..so extension to MAQ will be too long compared to ERS...
