I am wanting this train to be of NR because SC Rajdhani wil also become LHB and expecting these coaches for Haridwar AC Express. But It seems my wish is not granted. Anyways, This train does 76+Kmph Average, LHB is needed for sure :p

LTT Gorakpur SF Express gets AJNI WAP-7, the rake of the train being Hybrid LHB. Hence, LTT NZM AC Exp will surely get AJNI WAP-7, I feel.

This train is reported to have Rajdhani priority plus AJNI is the only passenger 3phase shed of CR. Most importantly, the rake is LHB, hence possibility of AJNI WAP-7 is high. If WAP7s are less, LTT GKP SF's AJNI WAP7 might be discarded and it will switch back to BSL M4/P4. Not initially, but after sometime, surely AJNI WAP-7 will be made the official link. Besides, TKD WAP-7 are also there, they might be given.

Orders would have been placed for this coaches at the same time when there was media release which mentioned that the train is being planned to start by May...

Punjab mail has got new coaches recently. LTT trains are getting LHBs, so, I feel Jnaneswari/Samarsata will be the first to get LHB from CSTM div.

RCF Kapurthala has released many shells towards RBL and this coaches are expected to be the same which got furnished at RBL...

No train in CR with SL coaches is in the priority list to get LHB Rake, Still the full rakes of Poorva/Purushottam is not readied from the priority list, So how could a new train from CR seek in? This coaches are very much likely for the LTT-NZM AC Express...

Pushpak's coaches are in good condition. Instead of LTT GKP, Pushpak would have got LHB long back as both are of NER.

As it is the LHB production is so scarce how can everyone be satisfied? Many trains in CR itself are old/prestigious but CR/RB is in no mood to allot LHB's to any of them,
Plus MAS RAJ is LHB, Duronto is LHB, MAS-SBC DD is LHB
And this train is not just any other AC Express, This is planned to run on Rajdhani Level so the priority here is increased manifolds...

LTT-KYQ is just 57 - Last year a SF special was run on same timings with SL and GEN Coaches as well besides the AC Coaches - so there is no difference in this case and this train is also just a Normal SF
SC-HWH again shares its time slot with a weekly SF and is only 57 km/hr so again here also there is no difference between a Normal SF and AC SF
Speed matters much and remember in the budget this LTT-NZM AC Exp got priority ahead of the third Rajdhani between BCT-NDLS, So priority is definitely very high here...

Besides, Mas Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, Double Deckker and HWH AC Exp are LHB. Madurai drnt, TVC Drnt and cbe drnt got started when Mamta (founder of durontos) had almost washed hands from railways. Now, We have Anubhuti coaches of Pawan Bansal. Demand Anubhuti coaches for TN, GT, etc :p

But, They are saying after AC Express, CR might get Rajdhani too. This is said by those people who says LHB can reach CSTM after AC conversion and the bridge height matter that you mentioned is not a big problem and will be solved. Besides I myself saw a bridge common to Parel (CR) and Elphinstone Road (WR), then when WR can pass thier LHBs , why cant CR?
If CSTM will continue it's service and especially of LHBs, then surely, We can expect a Rajdhani for CR.

The chances of Rajdhani is almost Nil now, This train in itself is a Rajdhani but just that 'Tag' is not their,
But again this is already discussed that the Rajdhani 'Tag' itself was not proposed by CR as they did not want to lose out to WR and it worked in CR's favour, Again Rajdhani would have also taken 20 hrs as this is the limit here

CSTM ADI is running in LHB Coach only. I saw the video also. Only PUNE NZM duronto running in Normal ICF Livery. Nowadays all new trains got LHB Livery. But Tamil Nadu didn't get any Special train in LHB Coach.

Its BCT not CSTM...BCT-ADI Duronto is a old ICF Rake FYI not LHB...

dude, lots of people are opposing the fact which you told. I had so many fights on the same. Besides, RF working in CR itself said me that CR may have rajdhani after this AC Express and this AC Express will be the test to look in how much patronage the train gets and if, it is high enough, it may lead to the birth of CR Rajdhani. Besides, other Railfans too are saying even after annoucement for this AC Express, WR and CR are still in forefront for third Rajdhani of Mumbai.

Looks highly ambitious, An AC Express started as a trial run to gauge the patronage for Rajdhani
In my opinion with working pattern of Rajdhani i.e very few berths for intermediate stations it is best that AC Express is started
Passengers for Bhopal, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra, Mathura will hardly have any berths for them
End-to-End first preference will always be short route unless the CR Rajdhani does the same in 16-17 hrs which is very much impossible,
WR could still get the 3rd Rajdhani...

My friend had read in one of the marathi newspaper that Rajdhani LHB coaches will soon be given to LTT Haridwar AC Exp. so, as I tought nd wished these coaches could be for Haridwar AC Express and NR will handle the LTT NZM AC Express

Craziest TT after considering RSA with LTT HW....

Nothing gr8 abt this TT.
1. 3 hours between NDLS-AGC, even a normal SF does that, slower than TN anyday (should do it in 2hr 20-25mins)
2. NZM-JHS in 5hrs 25 mins, KSK does it faster than this ( rather should do it in 4-30 or 4-40 mins)

Actually MPS of LTT-ET is not much high when compared to the sections of Lalitpur-Tughlakabad-Delhi so even if you give LHB or WAP-7 there will hardly be any effect,
And anyways i think HW will see speedup by max of 20 mins...

It has a fully packed schedule meaning, it has to be accorded the highest priority in the section, even if it comes to overtaking Rajdhani, if needed be.... Hence its crazy....

Rajdhani can overtake this train, but it cannot overtake rajdhani/duronto. Be it of whatever category, but in any case it cannot be allowed to overtake 20-30 yrs old running rajdhani's.

As per this TT, there shudn't b a conflict between a Raj and this AC SF Raj like train.... However, the fact remains that highest priority wud b accorded as CR is bent on running it in 20 hours flat....

Bro this AC Exp will be introduced with the TAG of "SF" and according to the planned schedule of 20 hrs the avg speed turns out to be 76 which means it would be the KING of SF's from Day One itself :D
And from LTT for Down Departure as per the predicted schedule it will overtake some of the best SF's like Mangala, LTT-GKP LHB, Sachkhand, Karnataka (maybe some more) and many other M/E and passenger trains on the way to NZM...

Yeah.... Hope that it overtakes as many trains possible in its run.... I think, On a few occasions with bit more increase in avg speed, it will cover in 19 hours...

MTJ to NZM that time is Rajdhani 12951 slot. So it will have to trail. Hence 13:30 hours to 09:30 hours is planned..

Best place to witness the high speed action will be NCR/NR, If it is given Rajdhani speed/priority between ET-NZM then travel time can come down by at least 30 mins, Lets see if that happens or not in the subsequent period of time... :)

12951 reaches NDLS by 0835, and it crosses nzm at 0820-0825 (if on schedule), so it can easily trail 12951 and reach NZM at 0835.

Most of the times, 12951 gets delayed vy an avg of 5 to 10 mins due to congestion, so just in case....

I dont have any news in regards to that, all I have is what my friend read that these coaches might be for LTT HW AC Express so that mostly means LTT NZM AC Exp will be NR train, hence giving LHBs to SC Rajdhani too. I dont think so it will be of any use to start the train now as summer vac is about to end. so, During, some special ocassion like on independence day the train shud start.

It is reported that August Kranti Rajdhani Express was started as AC Express and later on, it was upgraded to Rajdhani. Today also, at BCT, you will see on the display board, it is written as 'August Kranti Express'.. Jnaneswari was also started as AC Express that way. And now, This train is also started as AC Express, so either like AK Rajdhani it will be upgraded to Rajdhani in future or if the patronage is not good, then might be converted to SF like Jnaneswari as now we have Rajdhani sleeper coaches too.

This will enjoy good patronage should be converted to Rajdhani after few months of its inauguration.

LTT-KYQ AC Exp is breaking all records (even if it till Patna) and from KYQ also it is doing great with even 11 Coaches of 3AC (more than any Rajdhani)
If NZM AC Exp has commercial halts enroute at BPL/JHS/GWL/AGC/MTJ then this train will definitely beat the WL of Mumbai/AK Rajdhani on its days of run...

for that it needs to reach nzm before bct raj .......say around 08.20- 08.25

Yes another strong point for this train is people of Pune will also end up making use of this train from Kalyan...

Yes going to bct/bdts/bvi from pune is always a hassle, so would definitely be of great use.Hopefully its frequency will be increased.

It won't be as fast as WR rajdhani/duronto but if timings are convenient 3-4 hrs more doesn't matter much.

Its easy to run the train as tri-weekly with 1 single dedicated rake, Should have been tri-weekly from the start itself

I suppose it was announced as weekly express, if enough time is available for maintenance both at nzm/ltt then can be tri-weekly otherwise can only be bi-weekly with a single rake.

Yes announced as weekly train, But it can run as tri-weekly and can still have 20+ hrs as maintenance time on one day in a week

And when train arrives on Sunday (or any given day) from NZM at 9:30 then entire day can be utilized for maintenance...

Yeah.... I will prefer 11 am dep LTT n NZM arrvl @ 07.00 am.... It should comfortably divert all the crowd .....Lesser Price is an added bonus....

Yes can be done this way but they won't make it more than bi-weekly.
Just see example of nzm-pune duronto
It reaches pune at 7am and departs at 11am so a 4hrs time, so this too could have been made triweekly but its just kept as biweekly.

Yes strange are the working ways of IR, HWH-MAS got biweekly AC Express...

May be if it gets good patronage, which it definitely will....RB will introduce a new biweekly CR Rajdhani with the same rake, while retaining its weekly run.... That way both classes could be catered...

u cannot have maintenance just one day in a week. With this schedule, you need maintenance after every two days. if this was true then BCT Rajdhani and August Kranti combo would have been managed only with four rakes. But they actually need five rakes

Yes on Every Friday the rake gets changed for 12951 it gets the the rake gone for a maintenance for a week .

The fifth rake is not spare one, both BCT Raj and AK require five rakes to manage the operations. The maintanc is on daily basis, as when Ak reaches BCT, the rake is given halt for 30 hours and depart as BCT raj as next day. kindly read the RSA link blog of 12951 for detailed understanding.

Booking went to WL for 22630 !!!

Today morning witnessed lot of confusion in PRS counter regarding booking of 22629 train as it was not updated in the system. But as per SR press release shows as "Advance reservation for the above TRAINS will commence o­n 25.4.2013." Any way watch for Central railway press release regarding this, sometimes there will be no notification at all, they will start it one fine morning. so please check daily.

Now in IRCTC website is reflected Train No: 22629, and so, booking will start from tomorrow :)
