Well, even after electrification, the Digha bound trains are getting WDM without any reason.. Otherwise, all trains bound for Digha, be it from HWH or KGP should get WAP/ WAM/ WAG now...

Very odd timings, and horrible old worn out coaches are the primary reasons for passengers to avoid these train as much as possible. The coaches of this train are the ones which once belonged to the decommissioned Pune- Secunderabad Shatabdi Express that used to exist 10 years back. Even while all the other trains plying between Santragachi/ Shalimar/ Howah/ Sealdah runs with waiting list (even Sealdah- Puri Duronto and Howrah- Puri Garib Rath), but this train always runs empty.

AJJ WAM-4 6PE thunders with Jan Shatabdi Express through Ghoraghata.

20 minutes late running 12074 Bhubaneshwar (BBS)- Howrah (HWH) JAN SHATABDI Express headed by 21266 AJJ (Arakkonam) shed WAM-4 6PE blasts through Ghoraghata staion on KGP-HWH stretch of SER enroute at a fairly good speed. Seemed the LP was quite determined to make up some lost time. The train has a fairly good patronage, and gets loco links of WAM-4 from VSKP, TATA and AJJ sheds..
It follows the Bhubaneshwar- Cuttack- Balasore- Kharagpur- Santragachi- Howrah route of SER.

Newbie WAP-4 charges with Ahmedabad Superfast through Ghoraghata.

More than 3 hours late running 12833 Ahmedabad (ADI)- Howrah (HWH) Superfast Express headed by its customary link, newbie 22892 SRC shed WAP-4 cruises through Ghoraghata station on SER's HWH- KGP stretch at about 100 km/hr. Quite surprisingly, whenever I catch a video of this train, the Milk wagons go missing!!
The train uses the train follows the Ahmedabad- Vadodara- Surat- Bhusaval- Akola- Badnera- Nagpur- Durg- Raipur- Bilaspur- Rourkela- Tatanagar- Kharagpur- Howrah route.
