I was just casually browsing the IR Fleet RDS site.......and under remarks section for GZB WAP-7 30243 as "Under MOH".... I have heard of Loco POHed in Kanchrapara...........What is "MOH"???? Kindly explain....attached a screenshot of the same!

Overhauls are done at select workshops across the country and are not spread zone wise. For example, Perambur ( in Chennai) handles POH for locos from all over South India and occasionally even from as far as TKD. Similarly, Bhusaval handles POH for 3 phasers and WAP4's for a lot of zones other than CR. This is not zone specific and usually the workshop to which the loco is sent is based on schedule and the workshop's capacity constraints. I think NR has a workshop at LKO to overhaul diesel locos, but as I said, locos can be sent anywhere for POH.
Thanks for the information, Sir! I didn't know that BSL does the POH for theP-5/7,G-9... What about Kanchrapara...It is POH centre for the eastern part of IR....but the location of the loco as per the site is at LLH! LLH does POH for passenger rakes....since when did LLH start POHing locos!

My father had two sons and six daughters of which I am the fourth daughter in terms of date of birth.Excluding me all my sisters are married though my second elder sister Smt.Bharati Das became a widow after the death of her husband on 22.5.2008,i.e more than 5 years before the death of my mother,I think these factor makes me eligible for family pension since the death of my mother. Under the circumstances I as an unmarried daughter applied to the appropriate authority for grant of family pension.But my appeal was turned down by the workshop personal office by office order No.LE.182/SETT/FP/LOOSE/UM/312 dated 16.4.2015. Sir due to my physical inability I could not marry for fear of future trouble.I am at present 43 years of age educated upto class eight level and there is no possibility of my getting a job.I would therefore pray to you to consider my case in a sympathetic manner and grant me family pension otherwise I may have to die due to starvation as I have no income at all. Yesterday, I spotted a very rare class loco while returning from BDC to HWH. BWN WDM-6!!! It was shunting some SL coaches. As our train was running at a very good speed, so couldn't capture it. :-( Short hood & long hood are similar to YDM-4.

Yes, But as it is LHB so the rake will be sent to NDLS after making necessary repairs and replacement for highly damaged coaches. Again a massive rail accident saved by LHB with 0 casualty. LHB saved casualty last June this year in case of DBRT Raj near Chapra. This... more...

yesterday i saw this train in LILUAH @ 16.07 it was running late. The problem for the passengers (of 12023up) is that if this train arrives late it will departure late..so it will be late to reach patna..mostly at midnight..
