DAKE is like a Halt Station & it feels that the station is situated at much higher level from grounds..Am I ryt?
not a halt technically, but you are right about its altitude.

yeah, almost at a three storeyed height. yes, the station is a type of halt station with no interlockings but plenty of express trains halt here too and you know he reason for the halt, dont you ?

yes, a too high station...Yes Sir. Also the length of the platform is way too long than any other suburban stations of kolkata.

Really beautiful Rail Station....very clean, well-managed station. But it is situated in a worst section of Eastern Railway. Number of trains is very few. After 8.32 pm next Local train departs at 10.46 pm.

I have travelled in this station. I watched some problems in the route. This route SDAH - Dankuni is very neglected for a long time. Sometimes train gap at night is 2 hours 15 minutes also. Besides a few Express train stands at Dakshineswar. It is kali temple place. So huge flow of people come here daily. SDAH - Rampurhat Intercity, Kolkata Dwarbhanga need a stoppage. Some SER train like Mumbai / Chennai also demanded at Dakshineswar. It is connected by CCR Chord line & ACC Link. High Staircase also suffers passengers.

Which train?
It is bad luck for us that a route in main Kolkata suffer from scarcity of trains. So you may imagine what is the situation in the other state in WB. Our family often come at Dakshineswar, we have also faced this problem, we had to take train from Bally gone by auto rickshaw from DAEK as SDAH - DAKE Local is not available.
Most bad section of Sealdah division. Dakshineswar stn is looking like a remote village area stn. Local train is very irregular. Only 6 Mail/Exp train stop here. After 8.32 pm DOWN Local next down train at 10.46 pm. Now think abt this section
