Delhi I never got opportunity to travel to my hometown as over here Diwali has an upper hand. Every time Diwali and chhath in one travel. 7 years passed by. on Sunday I was watching the new movie MS Dhoni where there was a scene of Durga puja celebration with all its might. Dekh Kar laga kaash ek baar jaane ka mauka mil Jaye as the navratra had just started. It was either a miracle or the blessings that I really went by 12260 booked on the same day on which I travelled and had a blast over there after so many years. Now it was time for returning. It was Tuesday and no cnf seats were available in 12301, 12313 or 22823. So thought of a break journey ie from Kmme to dos by 13151 and 12877 from dos to ndls. Tickets were booked in tatkal quota. On the faithful day packed my luggage and was all set to leave when my brother called around 15:20 only to inform me that something wrong has happened and 13151 has started 2 hrs late from koaa. Even 12357 has departed late. I was totally speechless and didn't know what to do. I enquired on NTES and it was really true.My brother told me that go to dhn buy a tkt to mgs and board 12329 which will arrive rt at dhn and go to mgs and wait and board 12877 from there. I asked if tte comes at dos and doesn't find me won't he give it to rac passengers. He said that just Hope for the best as by 13151 you won't be able to reach dos on time. I didn't know what to do. It was already 15:40 and to reach dhn by bike 1 hr is needed. So I started looking for options. I just wanted to reach dos. I started looking for options which I had at last. I decided that I will travel by bike upto GMO and from there I will catch 12366 pnbe JS upto Gaya and from there 13243 upto dos.12366 was scheduled to reach Gaya at 20:00 hrs while 13243 leaves Gaya at 19:58. Not a big margin. So if the train is not late or is not stopped at outer it should be able to make it as NTES updated the previous day arrival 10 mins before time at Gaya. Took the bike and told my father to sit back. It was already 15:55 and neither I nor he knew the route to GMO as maximum I have travelled is upto dhn. More GMO was approx 70 kms. I drove furiously and finally reached GMO at 17:00hrs. How I did it even I also don't know. My Activa gave me full support. I took a tkt upto mgs in case I don't reach on time to Gaya I will use that tkt to travel upto mgs by 12357. Said adieu to my father. 12366 arrived bang on time at GMO and the coaches were quite empty or should I say completely empty. I decided to board the coach just behind the engine to feel the aggression of engine and it would also give me a chance to catch 13243 if it's departing with 12366 entering Gaya. Well the signal turned green and off it went through the scenic beauty of GC. It was really mesmerizing and the train raced all the way. By the time my train reached bandhua 13243 had arrived at Gaya. It was 19:47. I just prayed that it should not be stopped just after the bridge at the calling of signal. But to my amazement mpo vanished within the blink of an eye and we crossed the bridge making a good rhythmic sound. No stopping and it was 19:52 when we crossed the home signal. Now the cross over began for pf no 5 and the train started changing tracks. It was like ages as the arrival of train at pf 1 is quick without any change overs. Finally I reached Gaya at 19:58.. Well done GC for superb controlling and not allowing 12329 to ot us. I got down on the pf. Now all the pf were empty except for two out of which one was 12366 and another an icf train. I went over there and asked the locals but they could not tell me precisely and the coaches were empty so could not ask the passengers. When I checked NTES it showed 13243 departed rt from Gaya. But wait I also entered the same time and if 13243 had departed rt I could have easily seen it departing I decided to check the train board but it showed too many RSA. I checked indianrailinfo which also showed the same. At last I went to the driver and asked him. He said it's 13243 only. I had a huge sigh of relief. We (me and the train) waited for another 20 mins and finally 12329 skipped Gaya at decent speed , I was just telling to myself bhag lo Kal dekhnge post mgs. Finally signal turned yellow and we left. Now I don't know why this 13243 is an Express train. It halted at every station upto dos like a passenger train. When I checked NTES I saw these all were halts. It ran ,stopped and then once again ran and I finally reached dos at 22:30 hrs. I had to wait another 90 mins which I did by going outside to get something to eat and refresh up myself. My train 12877 finally arrived at dos 23:57 after the passing of all the rajdhani. I boarded the train went to my seat and kept my luggage. Went to the attendant got the bedroll and arranged my bed. Meanwhile even before we had reached ssm, tte came and tkts were checked. After the hard day of toiling and the day filled with anxiety as to what would happen it was now time to finally relax and rest comfortably in the coolness of the AC. I went off to sleep and reached ndls the next day by a mere delay of 30 mins. That marked the end of my journey
Haan kai baar sunne ko to aaya tha like patna me karbigahiya end par platform no.10 banakar uss side se v entrance acchi kar di gayi hai ussi tarah yahan v platform no.10 banakar usse side se entrance banane ko news aayi thi. Or platform no 10 banne ke baad gaya se originating trains platform no 10 se chalane ka plan tha..
