no maps of rail way line linking your old and new up coming stations like proddatur,banaganpalli jammalamadugu.
dudes will 6 platforms will be sufficient for guntakal station how many trains will be passing this junction??is der any waiting for trains for platform availability??give reply urgent

not much....most of the trains passby except few passenger trains which halt there. Normally i have not observed much delay in trains entering the station there...

Still the work is not started for constructing new stn bldg
and by-pass line to connect dhne line from west end of the gtl stn(ie not needed loco reversal for trains going or coming towards dhone side)

If they demolish the existing stn bldg only there will be connectivity frm 3-6pfs towards kalluru line and 1,2pfs to gooty line
yes, connection among all the platforms is important
There is SBC stn which cannot be modified to give connectivity to all routes frm 1-5 pfs to ypr line and 6-10pfs to bnc line

Atleast the new demu train frm kcg-rc which is introducing in april/may have to extend upto gtl

agreed the demu to gtl..but i feel TB should extend to ndl..bcoz we r not having any express train to hyd..ndl is the one of fue parlamentary constituency in andhra is still not having trains to hyd n tirupati...
Problem with NDL is it will be a lengthy route to Hyderabad via Dhone with a loco reversal involved. Via road its pretty shorter route and patronage may not be that great :(

yes ndl people will prefer buses only to hyd n tpty...it takes 6.30 hrs in bus but if tb is extended (let) it takes 8 hrs which is not a big burden.loco reversal is not a big prblm..even they make loco reversal for 2 passenger trains..n donmt forget they also announced ndl-krnt passenger in dis budget...it feels a waste train..rather than giving a new passenger y cant they extend TB..n also extension is not a big matter...

its gud idea..but its not possible..bcoz no new lines announced in krnt dist..with present routes only we have to satisfy our needs..
yup with ndl-ya new line we except a train to tpty..dats y we dont bother about tpty connection..
thanku kotla u did alot for gunakal.why dont u try the remaing trais that passing through guntakal to be diverted via gooty pendekal and dhone.the surprising fact is that not even a sigle proposed train is passing through guntakal.very strange.another suggestion is why dont u make kurnool a separate rly zone. r u a minister for indian railways or a minister for kurnool nation?kudos to u and scr officials.

what is the present sceneriao for electric loco shed at guntakal?any updates..
saying gtl is packed with more trains and taking more time for loco change, bypass was planned from gy to pdl. Now most of the important and pet trains are skipping gtl. Now in the late nights in the gtl platforms are so free that children can play cricket.
Now our hopes are all on Kotla sir. Sir pls do some thing and get back the Guntakal glory back as this the only division and most famous jn in rayalaseema.
we r hoping for the best in 13-14 budjet.
