As i got news, I have to reach Trivandrum before 6th Feb morning. Yes this is the time for a long journey and leaving home town.
As i have exam on 4th so now just two option, take Swarn Jayanti in the morning of 3rd or take flight from Delhi on 5th, after thinking a lot, decided to travel by flight. So packed bag around 7 PM and left home with receiving blesses from family members. My father dropped me upto bus stand by car and from there i took Bewar Depot bus. Bus was not so much empty so could not get window seat but completely aware about this road so without any problem reached Agra around 9PM, yes i crossed
Rambagh flyover at 7:40 but from there it took 80 minutes to reach Bhagwan Talkies. Took a E-Rikshaw from there to reach Hariparvat. From there just on a small walk, Raja Ki Mandi Railway Station is there. Buy a UR Superfast ticket upto Nizamuddin and came on platform 1 of Raja Ki Mandi. After few minutes Agra Palwal MeMU arrived on pf1 since Taj was near about Dholpur so decided to go by MEMU upto Mathura. MEMU performed well and reached Mathura around 10:30. came down from train and again started waiting for Taj at same time i looked that one IRI member is travelling by Jabalpur Atari Express which is running just after Taj Express and Punjab Mail running back to Jabalpur Atari. I changed my plane to travelling by Taj and started thinking about Atari Special. Between that time, Taj came, since crowd was also good in Taj so i decided to go by Atari Special only but after departing Taj, i got to know that Punjab Mail has overtook Atari Special. After few minutes Punjab Mail came i asked TTE for a seat in sleeper class and he permitted by me with charging difference of fare. Came on my seat, and started some railfanning, yes i was traveling to Delhi after more then 2 years. Punjab Mail really shown his performance thats why i came to know that apart from schedule and punctuality still its performing very well thats why it has a huge no. of fans. MPS action was started at Mathura but did not stopped before Palwal outer(except Kosi halt). At Palwal Bhopal Shatabdi overtook us then after Punjab Mail departed, speed was just ok after palwal but managed to reach Hazzrat Nizamuddin around 1:10 AM. Came out from Platforms and hired a Auto upto IGI Terminal 1, But there was a stuck traffic in midnight too at Sarai Kaale Khan so took few minutes to come upto Ring Road. No metter its midnight, Delhi being a National Capital, she never sleeps, Yes Ring road was still having traffic and some cautions at Ashram, Lajpat Nagar also. But after Lajpat Nagar traffic resisted auto to unscheduled stoppage at AIMS only. Then after around 2:30 i was at IGI T1. I looked on LCD display then found that IGI is really overcrowded Airport and having more then 25 flights in next 2 hours, i stand in queue for check in and after standing for almost 30 minutes, yes i submitted by Trolley bag airport authority, then after its time to security check so immediately after getting boarding pass, moved towards security lines, there was not so much corwd and get out from there in just 2 minutes and came in waiting area, its almost full and around 20% foreigners were also there, there was continuously final calls for different flights. It was around 3:30 when i tried to go in boarding area but i was not allowed, then after i waited for 1 more hour and get some new friends which were also going to Trivandrum by same flight, Around 4:20 i again tried to cross boarding area entrance gate and this time i was allowed so reached there, I immediately checked my gate yes it was 5B so i started waiting for few other once also. But within few minuted a member of airport authority(definitely a lady) told me, "For whom you are waiting board in flight immediately." Then after i crossed gate with my friends and after crossing gate, i come to know that we will go upto plain by bus. A low floor AC bus was there we boarded in it. Soon after i boarded, Bus started way towards flight. opps really number of plains standing in IGI more then no. of vehicles parked in New Delhi parking. After taking 4-5km run, yes we were in front of a small SpiceJet SG. As i deboarded from bus i asked my friend that how can we ensure that we are in front of correct flight at same time crew of flightalirt me, if you are going to Trivandrum then come quickly. My one friend(female) boarded from front gate because her seat was 11F and i along with 2 other friends boarded from rear gate(those seats were 27F and 23F). My seat was 23A. I got shocked when i looked the seats of plain, too much less legroom even UPSRTC buses are better. I put my cameras,mobile and earphones out and put bag in locker. and came on my seat. After few monutes engines get started, I looked at watch, it was nearing 5 AM, A announcement was done, "SPICEJET me aapka swaaagat he, ham kuchh hi samay me Trivandrum ke liye prasthan karege, boarding puri ho chuki he". Around 5:25 Crew members introduced himself and some instructions were given. Mobile was turned on flight mode on the instruction of crew and at exactly 5:30, Journey to TVC started. Firstly plane turned on road on which bus was came. after around 500mtrs, it turned right then after taking two more right turns, it came on main runway, picked speed quickly and taken off, soon we crossed NH8, Mahrauli, Badarpur, Noida, it took U-turn from Yamuna river and crossed above then Manesar. then after there were dark due to clouds, after few minutes i looked some lights checked in GPS and found that we were flying over Alwar. Then after i slept, after few minutes i waked up and found that sun is about to be rising, a very big city was below us, again GPS helped and found that it must be Indore, Captured many pics of this scene and again i get slept, after taking some sleep, there was a announcement in flight" WE are passing threw a turbulence so put tie seat-belts" i checked time, it was 8:20 and after opening window i found that we were flying threw clouds and over mountains. Sun was putting reflection on my eyes threw wings. so again have to closed half window, after few minutes announcement were done for landing. I again turned on my camera and plane took right turn after flying over entire Trivandrum city, I can clearly look beech, roads and buildings of TVC, looked Kochievali station also, soon in few minutes, we were at ground. And SpiceJEt thanx us for travelling, here we entered directly in Airport threw connected gate, took few selfies with plain and came in arrival hall, here collected my bag and came out from airport. Taken a prepaid taxi since Ola/Uber were not available at that time. and reached at my apartment at 10:45.

few days back or you can say few month back 12425-Jammu rajdhani was stopped in somewhere in Haryana before Ludhiana. It was a chain pulling. when guards of the train and few crew member came to down to know the reason. There were few robber were already hidden near tracks and started throwing stones on them. some how one of the guard manage to fix the break pressure and train was moved successfully. but when train reached at Ludhiana few passengers traveling in train had reported about missing their belonging goods. this train had to stooped at Ludhiana for more then 1hr due to this incident.

It doesn't stop people from spitting on trains. Better if they put images of gods in coaches then they may stop spitting :P
Apart from joke I like your livery since rajdhani runs on almost every part of India tricoloured livery will be like heritage train of India.

Sir it is not necessary that always rajdhani like trains will get robbed. Its railways responsibility that RPF should be present in trains specially in overnight trains. I've heard similar incidents in other trains that runs in old ICF coaches. Similar incident also happened in kerala sampark kranti twice near BRC. Throwing stones to the trains is common in faridabad area. Once I was travelling in TVC rajdhani some kids were threw stones to my train in somewhere between TKD & FDB & it broke the windows. Sadly only solution to this problem is fencing but I don't think that would happen in near future.

Right bro! About 20 km stretch between RJN & DGG have speed restriction of around 50kmph due to ghat at Salekasa-Darekasa, but rest of track is fairly straight and level Trains running at 105-110kmph can cover remaining section (245 kms of Durg-NGP sections) in around 3 hrs at an avg speed of almost 90kmph, if given through and through green signal. But this seldom happens today due to obstruction caused by a large number of freight trains operating on the route. Even the HWH-MGS 130kmph route have its slower/ hilly patches like Gurpa-Gajhandi section where even HWH Raj too slows down to restricted speed, so it is not a big problem.
Since 410km BSP-R-Durg-NGP has already been identified for upgradation to semi
high speed (160kmph), it looks like the frequent mega blocks being taken in the NSP-Durg section are meant for speed upgradationworks also along with other improvements/ maintenance works.
With NGP-SC also identified for Semi High speed upgradation, we can expect 130/160kmph trains on BSP-NGP-SC route in future.

I just gave clarification to the superlative statements appearing about RIG JS which may appear a bit exaggerated.
My Post was just a highlight of special significance/sentiments, of RIG JS for CG people.
After all knowing the sentiments/ thoughts/ experience of esteemed IRI members, the
Railway enthusiasts from every nook and corner of India along with the IR news/ information is the USP of IRI, which makes it different from plain IR news reading in news papers/ other sources. We should not hesitate to speak our minds and enrich our IRI brethren. Even if any slip-of-tongue occurs, it should not be an issue amongst us. Blogging in such a free and entertaining environment is always a combo of enrichment+pleasure.

Sir, Plz take my comment in lighter note. I understand trains need to run irrespective of their nature. One reason TN overtake was allowed could be lesser turn around time for telengana at NDLS, TN has ample time for the maintenance. Yes the JHS-NDLS section is very strict if you are delayed then you have to pay the price. Trains terminating at NZM make sense as there could be operational reasons

AGC-NDLS intercity was cancelled for many days and which ever train stops AGC round 6-7 am NR's stupid decision applied means that Train becomes Intercity Express Last time when I traveled by Telangana on 7th of Feb it happened the great Telangana becomes Intercity Express and stops all over the station where Intercity stops. This might be the reason for TN also
