Yes the entire Vskp division can be merged with SCR instead of creating a new zone. which will cater to n Ed's of both TS and AP and this demand is also there from long ago but EOCR is not letting it go as it gets substantial income of RS 6000from Vskp division itself. The Vskp Kirandul line is laid for iron ore movement for export and facilities have been created specially in Vskp city so the question is arising on revenue and expenses front. If the line is divided Vskp to Koraput the difficult terrain maintainance will have to be borne by VskpKoraput division and also the yard operations in vskp while income goes to another division which makes an imbalance in revenue and expenses and this the reason for not going for creation of new Zone. as loading is taking in it's homeland. One more thing I couldn't I understand is shifting freight loading to paradip which is not a feasible economic solution for exporter. Who will be interested to ship for more distance when port is at optimum distance who will bear the extra expenses if EOCR is kind enough to bear the freight cost of running freight for 450km and also the shipping costs for extra nautical miles then it's fine to shift to paradip as per your wish. Please think logistically and not political.

This secton of ECOR has become a new bermuda triangle of indian railway.. From last few months i am observing JJKR-CTC section and i found trains getting stuck here.. TRIP REPORT of my Journey Experience on 12246 Yeshwantpur (Bangalore) - Howrah Duronto Express via Renigunta - Vijaywada - Bhubaneswar :- . My experiences of traveling by 12246 YPR - HWH Duru Baby Exp was quite good. My Parents and I enjoyed traveling by this train very much. It was a secure, clean & punctual train (up to Bhubaneswar and reached HWH 1.5 Hours late). train. Mr. Jena, the Main Catering Attendant in our coach was very courteous along with his bright staff. The In House coach washer men asked for tips in the end of the journey but we told them that Mr. Jena had been awarded the tip on the staff's behalf so no more tips. It was awesome to see that our train reached at it's first tech halt Renigunta, where I saw a Tirupati bound train from MAS Side. In the evening and late night, our train skipped stations like Nellore at great speeds. The train was at it's MPS even the next morning while it thrashed stations like Naupada Jn, Palasa, Jhadupudi and Ichchapuram. It was too tough for me to stand near the occupied toilets near the main gates at such MPS. We were served breakfast after Nirakarpur in Odisha and I enjoyed it while watching the Sun-soaked Chilka Lake sidings. Later, our train reached at Bhubaneswar on time where we met the Dhanbad - Bhubaneswar Garib Rath Express. The skips on various bridges at MPS after Barang Jn were also too good. I even loved to see our train skipping stations like Cuttack Jn, Balasore and Kharagpur Jn at decent speeds. After KGP, our train struggled to reach Howrah since EMUs from Panskura Jn onwards started chasing us. They were given priority over our Duru baby and the slogging continued till Tikiapara Rail yard. I liked to witness the State Borders between Andhra Pradesh - Odisha and Odisha - West Bengal. Concrete sleepers are installed between the tracks at these points that display the Welcome Text. The staff was friendly as usual and told us to check all our belongings before we leave the train. It's a good train provided you do not have a connecting chain to any other West Bengal location from Howrah since it may get late. Personally, I feel that this is a good Train to travel by between Bangalore (BENGALuru) & Howrah. ---------------- My marks for this train on the following parameters :- ------------ 1) Security: 9/10 [Vigilant Coach Attendant(s) were seen at all times] 2) Food Catering: 8/10 [Minus 2 Marks for Dominance of Paneer in Veg Food] 3) Punctuality: 7/10 [ Delays due to slogging after Kharagpur but SRC WAP-4 was extremely powerful] 4) Speed Performance(MPS Behavior): 9/10 [Speed was perfect from train's side but some unscheduled halts spoiled the fun] 5) Cleanliness: 10/10 [Coach & Toilets were cleaned at all Technical Halts] . Thanks... it took me months to upload all my videos from my 12245 and 12246 Duronto Express journeys on IRI. I think that this is my last trip report on IRI since I am not sure of my future train journeys... my professional/personal life is going to be more hectic in the years to come... thanks a ton :-D
Thanks PK Sir... I would also love to travel by some other trains like the Sealdah - New Delhi AC Duru, Sealdah - Amritsar Akal Takht Exp and even the Sealdah - Katra Premium Exp in the years to come :-)
I think tripling caused 2 hr delay and power issue caused another 2 hrs delay resulting in 4 hrs delay.... Bad Luck, as will be traveling on this train from upcoming station... waiting and waiting...!!!
Railways mein anything is possible..They are working on a major work, so all the trains enroute are going through TSR here. Thats why as trains are going slow with caution , thats why they are getting delayed.
Not only 22811, all trains of this route getting delayed in jjkr-ctc.. This is happening from last 10-15 days.. Today 12842 coromandel took almost 2 hrs 25 mins to cover ctc-jjkr.. i guess some work must be going on there..
