This train/rake belongs to GTL div..so it was given that route and stops are also given like that.. if it runs Via VSKP.. it cannot cover GTL div and more over it will be more circuitous....so no way possible..
What is the use of connecting cities when already AP AC connects Vskp BZA sections. Just think who I'll be interested to travel from tirupati NLR via vskp raipur whichbus circuitous route when you they are trains running in lesser routes.

I cannot agree more on what you said. AC AP schedule was ruined by VSKP extension. Not to say anything bad about VSKP, its all on ECoR which doesnt care about VSKP. DMM-BZA is entirely within SCR, So there is a lot more schedule flexibility. There are plans for this train to be extended till HUP - Pending approval from SWR.

think first vskp should concentrate on this problem it is root cause.
Again saying, what you are showing is true, nothing to deny the fact. But what I and other bloggers are saying is, to run a correct type of train at correct time. We need to consider which class of people are traveling in a given section. We are talking about people for whom, taking 230Rs GS ticket matters a lot. We are not asking to run Shatabdhi, Garibrath, Duronto, AC SF etc. we are talking about an intercity kind of connectivity for the sake of this section of people.

Pithapuram Kakinada new line is allotted 150cr in this budget can anyone give the rough alignment map of the line. I believe the line is 21km long and present pithapuram samalkot bypass kakinada town is around 22km. I couldnt understand what additional advantage IR derives when the existing route is FEDL and will take the same time. Could someone give more info of this line.
