There are 21 pairs of Rajdhani Trains running at present.
After the introduction of Duronto trains in 2010 by the then Rail Minister, Mamata Banerjee, everyone thought that this train would lose its priority.
But honestly saying and asking, that these trains have been able to keep pace with the Duronto and Premium Trains.
Moreover, a #Duronto train is a second option for a passenger, #Rajdhani train at first.
Very few Duronto trains are able to run with great popularity like Mumbai Duronto, Howrah Duronto, Allahabad Duronto, Chennai Duronto.

After change of schedule the average speed of trains is 47kmps,how can it be justified to collect Superfast fare durinng bookings.

It all depends on GoAP initiative,if kept quite the neighbor will steal it.
Ex;One LHB rake gone to other zone.
I think it is because of no GM for SCR at present.. other zone manager might have influenced RB and got the rake transferred.
If all MP's sits then some thing will come out. As a state MP's common demands should be represented at Delhi level if 1 or 2 Mps missing also not an issue. With the there will be pressure on railway board.
But in reality things happening in reverse, AP MP's are divided by region, some region wants control others. Some they don't like to get control. There is big mess happening.
If Vizag, Srikakulam, Rajhamundry MP asking AP express from Vizag then Vijayawada , Guntur MP's Asking from either Vijayawada and Guntur. For announced train itself this flights going on. Then how come railways gives new trains ?? If there is a political clash then RB, Ministry cannot move forward that easily right ??
Nai rei.. If u observe this year, introduction of new trains is silently taking political perspective and voe banks.. In my observation zones are being given a very minimal role in this decisions. Otherwise our EX- GM did try a lot.
I do agree that off late SCR must come out of the SC/HYD cocoons. r else it can take via SC routes.
But do anyone have some reliable info regarding proposals from our zone which got /might get a push up
This station ( and all the busy terminal stations like SBC, YPR, MAS etc) needs a complete revamp like building another floor on top of the existing with pillers.
1. All the arrivals should be on top floor, while the departures should be on the ground floor....
2. The elevation can be after MLY. I know that there are some flyover's in between, but they can overcome i guess with more elevation as they are far from the main station. After flyover, they can reduce the elevation back to normal.
3. The same concept can be implemented outside the station for the Bus stand. Build top floor like SBC kempegowda bus stand dedicated only for buses. Give the passngrs direct entry

Yeah, TPTY can be tried for it. It needs badly. Atleast at SC, GHMC, should have taken care of the bus stand area, they can do it easily like SBC bus stand. It's hard time coming out of SC station with personal vehicle.
