Doesn't seem to be much of a tip since it doesn't help the user in much cases either. Also much information is outdated considering Aishbag MG is being phased out and Lucknow Swarna Shatabdi has been shifted to LJN.

You have alighted here and wish to travel onward to your city in Bus (always prefer trains instead of buses in U.P) , then i have suggestion for two locations:
1. For going to Kanpur , Allahabad ,Gorakhpur , Varanasi cities , go to Alambagh bus depot and there you will get a UPSRTC AC buses. All the AC buses start from here. Book ticket from counter and board the bus. But a slight suggestion for you, on weekends there is huge demands, so queue gets longer. For weekends journey kindly use the UPSRTC online booking facility (which maximum of the time never works;Typical Sarkari website).
For going to Bareilly, Moradabad , Shajahanpur , Pilibhit side go to Kaiserbagh bus depot and you will get bus very easily. The Delhi buses (Non AC type) also go from here only.
Best thing i love about UPSRTC Volvos is "FREE WIFI" which our railways also not provide.
A/C Janrath Service with Free WiFi available From Anand Vihar Delhi to Haldwani, Rudrapur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Kanpur, Allahabad & Varanasi.
A/C Janrath Service with Free WiFi available Kashmiri Gate Delhi to Dehradun, Hardwar, Rishikesh & Roorkee
A/C CCTV enabled Pink Express Service with Free WiFi available for Ladies & Families accompanied with Lady from Anand Vihar Delhi to Lucknow daily at 19.00 Hrs.
For booking of buses or any queries, kindly go to this link.

Only 80% people can use Mobile apps for reservation. not all are familiar to do app or online booking for Buses , and some don't even know to book online train tickets also.
For their benefit, any person can convey this tip ahead.

80% seems to high :P
but agree with your point, tech literacy+limited entry of smartphones limits the impact of online booking to only a certain chunk of people.

Many people do their train change over and boarding-alighting at Lucknow and get confused by seeing their trains starting from two different stations-LJN & LKO. This tip will surely help those.
See the image attached. The Blue arrow shows the Lucknow Charbagh station called as "Badi Line" and is under Northern railways. The black arrow shows the Lucknow Junction station called as "Choti Line" & is under North Eastern Railway.
The Lucknow Charbagh station is a pass through station and trains doesn't need rake reversal here. But Lucknow Junction station is a
Terminal type station where Rake reversal is compulsory , as you can clearly see in the image.
Now if you have to go from Lucknow charbagh to Lucknow Station, then come outside of the LKO from Pf 1 side and from the exit which is towards CNB side (Thats because if you come out from other exit which is towards varanasi side then you will have to walk bit more.) and after coming outside , see towards LEFT hand side. You will see another building in front of you. Just go there and enter it. You will be standing at Lucknow Junction. This will hardly take 8-10 min for this change over. So if you are having a change over here at LKO/LJN , then easily 30 minutes are more than enough for Buffer (just giving example:Never keep small buffers for change over. Atleast keep 2-3 hrs buffer for all change over of trains at any station.)
This LJN station is newer as compared to LKO and has lesser options for everything, be it food or books or anything else, as compared to Lucknow Charbagh station (LKO).
