Don't expect a fancy coach, dude. I went from SEG to Pune on January 19th, 2019 and here's what I saw: 1) The coach attendant didn't bother collecting the old bedding. 2) They only gave us bedsheets and pillow covers when we asked for fresh bedding. 3) There was no place to put the old bedding because all the berths were taken by passengers. So people started putting the bedding on the floor or below the lower berth.

2) Jab hum naye bedding maange toh sirf bedsheets aur pillow cover mila
3) Purane bedding rakhne ke liye jagah nahi thi kyunki saare berth logo ne capture kar liye the, aur logo ne flooring/neeche wale berth ke neeche bedding rakhna shuru kar diya

Got linens for 3A 2A 1A including Pillow, 2 bed sheets, 1 Blanket and 1 hand towel.
Asked the guy and he said they've given all that since March 28th.

My start date is March 30th, 2022.

Yo, this train from VSKP to Hyd is dope! The coaches are clean AF and always on time, no matter how late it gets. It used to be hauled by a steam locomotive and had 17 coaches, but now it's running with a diesel engine. It became super popular and added more coaches, making it one of the longest trains in India. It even has AC coaches, making it boujee. The train got upgraded with modern LHB coaches on June 1, 2020. If you wanna know more about its history, check it out here: [link]. So many people from Viziangaram and Srikakulam ride this train to Secunderabad every day. It's legit!

Is train ka itihaas yahan check karo click karo. 1 February 1974 ko Indian Railways ne pehli railway service announce ki thi Visakhapatnam aur Hyderabad ke beech, Waltair-Hyderabad Express ke naam se. Daily chalti thi ye train aur 5:30 pm ko Visakhapatnam se nikalti thi aur agle din subah 6:45 am ko Hyderabad pahunchti thi. Vapas ki yatra mein, 5:15 pm ko Hyderabad se nikalti thi aur agle din subah 6:45 am ko Visakhapatnam pahunchti thi. Kyo ki ye train East aur West Godavari districts ke sunsan shahron ko rail connectivity provide karti thi, isko official Godavari Express naam diya gaya tha. Ye train hamesha steam locomotive se chalti thi aur isme 17 coaches thi. Is train ne Samalkot aur Rajahmundry ke beech 50 km/h ki sabse tez raftaar bhi achieve ki thi. 1975 mein slip service introduce ki gayi thi iss train mein aur train ko Kakinada tak chalaya gaya. Iska result tha ki 5 aur coaches add kiye gaye. Ye train Simhadri Express ke saath Rake Sharing Agreement ya RSA mein bhi thi, jo Visakhapatnam se Rajahmundry tak chalti thi. Lekin 1980 mein, slip service aur RSA dono cancel ho gaye kyo ki Simhadri Express Bhimavaram tak extend ki gayi aur Kakinada-Secunderabad Goutami Express ko introduce kiya gaya. Train ne apne 5 naye coaches retain kiye aur pura end to end diesel locomotive se chalti thi. 1990 tak, ye train bahut popular ho gayi thi aur 2 aur coaches add kiye gaye, jiske saath total 24 coaches ho gaye. Isse India ki sabse lambi trainon mein se ek bani. Jab Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada line aur Vijayawada-Kazipet-Hyderabad line electrified hue, train WAP 4 electric locomotive se chalne lagi. Jaldi hi, Godavari Express South Central Railway ki pehli train ban gayi, jisme 5 air-conditioned coaches thi. June 1999 mein, train ka pehla hadsa hua jab Ghanpur ke paas Warangal mein derail ho gayi. 2000 tak, Godavari Express South Central Railway mein pehli train bani jisme apni khud ki air conditioned first class coach thi aur zone mein first train thi jisme 6 air-conditioned coaches thi. 2011 mein, train ko 12727 number mila jab ye Superfast train ban gayi aur Vijayawada aur Hyderabad ke beech WAP 7 se chalti thi. Train ki timings phir se modify hue aur safar ka samay aur bhi 15 minutes kam ho gaya. July aur August 2011 mein, Godavari Express ke air-conditioned coaches ke yatriyon se do baar loot hui aur train ke chhathi coach mein ek bomb ki jhooti call bhi ki gayi. Iska parinaamswarup, suraksha badhi aur train end to end WAP 7 se chalne lagi. Fir ye train Visakhapatnam aur Vijayawada ke beech WAP 7 se chalne wali pehli train ban gayi. Viziangaram aur Srikakulam zilon se har roj darjanon log Secunderabad tak Godavari Express se safar kar rahe hai. Train ko modern LHB coaches ke saath upgrade kiya gaya 1 June 2020 ko, jo South Central Railway dvara Hyderabad aur Visakhapatnam se chalayi gayi. Pehle hi train ko 2018 mein Utkrist CBC rake train ke taur par upgrade kiya gaya tha, jo 22 March 2020 tak chal rahi thi jiske baad lockdown shuru hua.

It's only for 3rd class air-conditioned. If you end up with the last seat or the first seat of the 3rd class air-conditioned coach, which is seat number 7, 8, 63, or 64, then let me tell you, your sleep at night won't be good. This is from my personal experience. I got seat number 63 in the B2 coach, and there are no curtains. Plus, the glass door of the compartment is see-through from the top, and it lets the light from the tube-light near the door come inside. This means there's no darkness while sleeping in these seats, while the rest of the passengers sleep peacefully in the darkness. I request the Indian Railways to at least put curtains on the compartment doors or attach curtains specifically on the last/first row seats, i.e., 7, 8, 63, and 64.
