Train Blog<--- expand blog --->Marudhar Express (4854/4853) is only train from Jodhpur to Varanasi, but it has runs in between Jodhpur and Varanasi, I think this train extended up to Gandhidham (via Samdari and Bhildi), three days in a week. So, one train directly from Gandhidham to Varanasi No need of new trains in between Gandhidham and Jodhpur, which is declared in new rail budget. So please took the matter in seriously and do the needful. Post your PNR No. @first blogger: To answer your question, your IRCTC ticket does automatically get updated when the chart is prepared, or even before that as cancellations/modifications take place. To check the progress of your waitlisted ticket, you need to use your PNR number which is marked on the right hand side of the print out showing xxx-xxxxxx as PNR. You can dial 139 from mobile/landline and follow the instructions, or you can use this site, and click on PNR, fill in the number you have and get the status. Or you can go to www.indianrail.gov.in and click on the tab "PNR" and get the latest status. Charts are normally prepared 4 hrs before departure, sometimes 3 hours...
