Train Blog<--- expand blog --->Why not any additional train for this route are provided what is the reservation status abd fare? ac compartments condition is not very good on this train - Mumbai Express/6340 lot of cockroaches in the compartment @first blogger: yes. the ac coaches in this train is not checked properly and kept properly. Railways please pay attention to this. Cost of food in Mumbai Nagercoil exp. is very high & no taste at all & qty. is also very less & unhygeinic too. Is there is any solution for having a good food for the commuter travelling for 36 hrs. Seats in the train are so dirty with insects & fans will not switchon properly. It is very unconvenient for the commuters of Tirunelveli as the train is reaching midnight 1.30 am, there is no bus facilities for the people living very far from tirunelveli junction.So we are requesting the depature time of Mumbai-Nagarcoil exp to delayed by 16.30 hrs instead of 12.10 pm from Mumbai-CST so the train reaches tirunelveli by early morning at 6.00 to 7.00 am. This comments is because 70% to 80% of the people travelling in Mumbai-Nagarcoil exp. are belongs to Tirunelveli. Shridhar Chandran @first blogger: you are right. This train reaches Tirunelveli and even Nagercoil at midnight and very early in the morning. This is very inconvenient for women and new comers to take bus and reach their destination. It would be good if the departure time from Mumbai could be adjusted in such way that the train reaches Tirunelveli and Nagercoil by 5:00 and 6:30 am. This train is used very much by people from these places. in waiting list there are two kinds, for eg when i check the seat availability, it shows WL 92/ WL 75.
