The chart is prepared and your ticket remained waitlisted. Under WL ticket, you are not allowed to travel. Claim refund by surrendering ticket at the PRS counter, if physical ticket. For e-ticket, refund will be credited directly to your bank account used for the purpose of making payment for the ticket. How can I book on the IRCTC site from the "foreign tourist" quota? There are available sleeper class seats for the foreign tourist quota (and I am a foreign tourist), but only waiting list at the general quota. But I don't see any possibility on the site to check the foreign tourist quota. What should I do? thanks Tatal number seat available in 2 Ac is 18 out of which only 5 is availlable for general booking rest berth are reserved for different quotas including tatkal..... In this train 2 Ac Coach is shared 1 ac compartments too I mean Its has a single coach for 2 ac and 1 Ac..... This creates lots of problems in booking for 2 ac.. As waiting list tcket are hardly comfirmed.... Why not quotas from other category are reduced and more berth are added for general quota for convience of passengers ..... @first blogger: Remember no RAC beths are provided in 2 AC.... Better luck if you have Waitlisted tickets... If this train twice in day means one more trains made available around 2000 hrs in night that is benificial for railways and all people who want catch the train after duty hours or is saptahik exp made available daily that will be also benificial for peoples. thanks The train leaves New Delhi Almost 2 hours before Patna rajdhani express and reaches patna around 7 am clock where Rajdhani reaches at 5:30 am.There are no halts for vikramshila express between New Delhi and patna apart from technical stops where as Rajdhani express has 3 halts and still reaches before vikramshila express.Can anyone explain it. can you check the timetable before making claims about "no halts" for vikramshila express? Dont make a joke of yourself on teh forum There is official stoppages between New Delhi and Patna For this train. Please look at the timetable and comment dear. I mean no official..... I agree with Blogger#1, I have checked the official timetable. There are no "official" stops between New Delhi and Patna. Which stops are you talking about. Blogger# 2. Please comment The Blogger at 08:51 AM today made an excessive comment; was not right with his / her harsh statement. Dear Blogger at 07:39 AM today ! You are right with your statement. In fact, halts are not the only reason for the duration a train takes from one station to another. It is the 'priority', a particular train is assigned with. This prioirity includes condition of rake (coaches), overtakes etc. etc. For details, see my reply at 07:37 AM on Sept. 19, 2009 which can be searched with words 'speed', 'aspect', 'exhaustive' etc. Thanks !
