If you do that then you got tickets from LKO quota & fare will deducted from ASR. So, if you wana book E tickets the book it first & change the boarding point after from any nearby PRS. I have a query here. Can somebody answer that as I don't know what could be the answer? When we click on the above tab "Route Map/Live Status" and take a look at the time table on the right side of the screen, then in the column "station code" there is a number adjacent to the code. My query/curiosity is that what does that number mean or signify or indicate? Also in addition to it .... what does that asterisk added as superscript to some stations mean. Why is it in some stations only and not others. What does it indicate?? The number next to the Station Code is irrelevant to the context. It was a bug, and has been removed. Thanks for pointing it out. The asterisk next to the Station means that it is a relatively important station on the route, as inferred from the amount of time the train halts there. It would have been a better train if it would have passed through grand chord line (Mughal Sarai - Gaya - Gomoh - Asansol) instead of going via Patna. This train often gets late after Mughal Sarai only. Till then it is more or less right time. No train from Amritsar goes via Gaya - Gomoh to Howrah/Sealdah/Kolkata. The number of journey hrs also could come down with it being right if this would be done. please write to IR through their official website. may be tey might consider iPr Why 2318 Amritsar to Sealdah Akal Takht Express not Stop at Jagadhri (JUD) Haryana Railway Station You can take uo the issue with railway ministry. Please send them an email throught theeir website with your suggestions. Also writing to your local railway station supritendant or to the divisional headquarters might be help. Commuter organizations also can make ur case stronger. Or else bring it up with your local MLAs or MPs.
