Hey Guys, heared the news that SR is going to remove 9 stops of 2695/2696 (Arakkonam, Katpadi, Vaniyambadi, changanasseri, Thiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikkara, Kayamkulam & Varkala) from April. Is It True? @satsk3: Hello Man,, I think tht sh'ld one of the foolished decicsions by SR officials. When SR approcahed Northen Kerala MP's to reduce the stoppages of ( S/F,EXP,SF trains ) in SRR-MAQ. They didn't approve. But none available ( least botherd) about TVC-ERN region to retain the stoppage.SR is very trickly given the stoppage at TPU first ( least impt station , among other stations),then re-routed the train via CBE. Now in TN has 2 stopps with in 30 mts. Also the same happend for 2777/2778 ( KCVL-YPR) . SR has stopped Hubli-KCVL-Hubli and made it as S/F KCVL-YPR (2777/8)as special trains ,removing old stops.with in a week they retained TPU ( tirupur) and it became permenat last week. Now TPU is odd station compared to other available stops of 2777/8. Really SR officals are favouring Tiruppur.. & excluding Keralites stops. This train is not filled with water when returning from TVC -> MAS. My journey was horrible because there was no water any of the sleeper coaches. It is very difficult for the passenger to go to the toilets This is really true, this train is not filled with water while returning from TVC. Passengers are having a very very bad experience | 9 halts between Thrissur City and Chennai CentralMake sure to visit the official site and double-check the timetable.
