For this purposes,there is very rash & scarcity of Rly Tickets of all classes. In the ensuing Budget, if you kindly allot at least one YUBA train & one DURONTO Express train for us considering the sufferings,we shall be highly released & obliged. ARUN .MD NEW YORK USA worst food, I have travelled in this train twice, I have had the worst experience as far as the food in concerned if you get waiting ticket or rac ticket then u never buy that because ur status of a ticket will never change, i purchased a ticket two and half months before the journey date my ticket status was rac 14 and rac 15 it remained same till the journey date and at the time of journey also i had to share the seats with another person. @first blogger: It depends on from which station to which station you book the ticket. It depends upon the quota in which you alloted, I mean it depends upon you journey stations why is only 137 seats open for reservation in sleeper class. what is the total capacity for sleeper class? @first blogger: because most of the ticket in the train is for chandigarh @first blogger: from which station to which station? never reaches in time to dehradun, i started on dec 24 2009 at 9.45am it reached dehradun on 26th dec at 6.45pm i.e 14hrs late. nobody cleans the train and toilet in middle. if u really want to travel to dehradun then take Gt or tamilnadu exp upto delhi and then change to another train or bus. Do the 3AC coaches have 3 side berths of 2 side berths? Thanks in advance. :-) I mean are the side berths 3 tier or 2 tier in a 3AC coach? generally only one night journey trains have side middle berth. others do not have it. so it should be 2 berths only. this is not correct logic e.g. golden temple mail amritsar to mumbai is a 2 night journey and still has 3 side middle berths. plz see this one of the oldest and prestigious IR train. its not question of logic, but it was meant tobe like that. other prestigious trains do not have SMB in them. some do have it. they are exceptions or the greediness. this SMB chapter should end by july when all SMB in coaches is likely to be discarded. initially only new coaches had it. still old coaches do not have it. maybe Golden Temple had a new rake. Side middle berth is causing inconvenience for RAC. This train should not stop at Sevagram. send your request to IR through official channels. if the patronage is less from sevagram railways might be inclined to drop it as a passenger halt. if its a technical halt then i guess you will have to live with it, till things change! Yes, the patronage is less. I know it. This train's passengers are mainly from Chennai, Vijayawada, Warangal, Nagpur, Bhopal, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra, Delhi and so on and to some extent Ramagundam too. Sevagram stoppage is not necessary. I have analysed these things. So, my request to Indian Railways is to withdraw the Sevagram stoppage. Even Nayudupetta stoppage is not required since it is a little town. kaisi train hai ye Chennai Dehradun Express/2687 is very good train. l travel lost month frome chennai to haridwar it reach at corect time. @ MODERATOR:Why slip portion of this train i.e 2687A MAS-CDG express not shown in this site..And nor the status is available...This is an important weekly train plz update..
