yes you are right this is slowest train but if Hyb - mum. diverted via Osmanabad(UMD) then it will get better priority on KWV-Bidar route and hence cover distance early

i just want to say if HYB-Mumbai and Mum-HYB are diverted via Osmanabad Latur then these trains will get less no. of crossings from kurduwadi up to Bidar so distance can be covered early

The entire section between bhigwan and mohol and again from hotgi to Gulbarga is Single track non electrified route (Total distance on single track 225 kms)
This is one of the train which gets least priority over other trains for crossings as it is not a superfast train.

The traction at Karjat station is being changed from DC to AC .
For AC traction there has to be a minimum clearance of atleast 2 mts from a FOB to the overhead wires.
The Power block is being carried out to make this change

The train is diverted from Kalyan to Daund without touching Pune. We don't have any news on this.

right now it is the slowest of all trains from hyderabad to Mumbai if it is diverted towards latur it will consume still more time

Pl. start or divert south side trains from Mumbai/Pune to Hyderabad/Channai vai Latur. Because vai Latur we save time and distance tobe travel. It should also required less fuel.

pune latur hyb distance is more than pune - solapur - hyb. similarly pune - mas distance is shortest via wadi. Do the calculations and reconsider your arguments of time, distance and money. More over daund - wadi section is being doubled. so things will actually speed up further on this section. Sorry bad idea to divert any trains that route based on your claims.

The shortest route between Hyderabad-Mumbai is via Solapur and not via Latur. Considering the time a train would take if it is diverted via Latur. For example. Osmanabad Exp was announced to be extended to Pune. It takes 14 1/2 hours from Hyderabad to Pune. Hussainsagar express reaches Mumbai in 14.20hrs. The time to travel from from Pune to Mumbai is 3 1/2-3.45hrs considering the traffic in that route for any train in general. So why should unnecessarily 3and half hours journey be increased? Do consider the facts before saying Latur route is the shortest route between HYB-Mumbai/Pune. And why is it that a train from HYB to Mumbai is needed via Latur? Latur people have train to goto Hyderabad(Osmanabad Exp) and Mumbai(MUmbai-Latur exp). Then why do you say there is no train from Latur to Hyd or Pune or Mumbai?
