It's really horrible for an Indian that you don't know about our famous Indian cities. Jammu Tawi is the name of Jammu Railway Station. And as said by some one Tawi is a name of famous river of Jammu.

Jammu is known as the "Land of Temples". Especially famous and auspicious is the Pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi during the Navratra Festival in September-October.

The most famous temple in Jammu is the Vaishno Devi temple at Katra. Udhampur railway station is close to Katra. Also, a rail link is being built from Udhampur to Katra.

raghunath temple is at jammu. katra is about 60 kms from jammu towards udhampur, srinagar. presently no train to katra. vaishnodevi temple is at katra. for visit to vaishnodevi, alight at jammu & take a bus to katra. it is 13 km walk/pony ride/dholi up the hills to the shrine. some people use helicopter. still around 2 kms walk/pony ride is a necessity.
