The east-west line is Mumbai-Howrah main line & the north-south line is Udhampur-Kannyakumari main line.
If its so then why does train bound to Howrah from CSTM n Kerala Express bound to TVC from NDLS arrive at PF 1 of NGP?
Pls explain how these #diamond crossings are linked to Nagpur Station?

South to North trains come to Nagpur via BPQ and SEGM. As you are aware, SEGM is on the CSTM-NGP-HWH Mainline. So they enter NGP just like any other train (from Mumbai/Pune side) does.

The Diamond crossing is at Nagpur outer towards Gondia side and trains going to HWH cross the diamond crossing to continue towards Itwari station (SECR territory).

I always believe routes which get far less attention than required should get more trains so i would love to see it run via - Rourkela - Sambalpur - Titlagarh - Raipur.
Distance is not much difference compared to Azad Hind SF & If above proposal is like PUNE-WADI-SC-GNT-VSKP-BBS-HWH.Azad hind is 2012 Kms & this one is 2140 Kms...

Cr will never remove any stoppage frm its region..and also sur is a big junction and revenue earnes....so if reqd,gooty and samalkot cn be removed and vskp can be skipped as ltt vskp sup is going to be daily...

No, its an #offlink. Of late, Pune Shed has started giving single EMDs for trains which used to get twin Alcos. Jhelum Exp also got EMD link sometimes very recently.
