this overtakes generally happen at SVJR...!! May be passenger was running late...!!!
Passenger was on time.. And Chennai Express was running before its scheduled time. I have mostly seen this overtake happening at TGN only..!!
Central Railway adds an SMS facility for receiving and attending to the complaints regarding cleaning of passenger coaches in trains having " On Board Housekeeping Services" in addition to the facility which can be accessed through www.cleanmycoach.com website on smart phones or laptop which have internet connectivity.
Passengers will just have to type "Clean<space><10 digit pnr number> and sms it to 58888 to summon the designated cleaning staff to attend to complaints related to cleanliness in coaches, including toilets
At present this facility is available on following trains:
11005/11006 Dadar-Puducherry Express
11013/11014 Lokmanya Tilak Temrinus-Coimbatore Express
11021/11022 Dadar-Tirunelveli Express

Indian Railways ruthless overtake:Thumping Alco overtakes EMD at MPS
Thumping overtake at Chinchwad : A late running Chennai Express goes beserk through the Chinchwad curve, trying to make up for its lost time. It had reasons to be angry : 15 minutes late running Karjat Pune shuttle, powered by a Macho WDP4D was held up at CCH for this regular overtake. Soon after passenger train arrived, a surprise long BCNA rake with twin WCG1 came from Lonavala side and was looped here. Hence Bang on time running Chennai Express was slowed down between Malavli and Akurdi. So 25 minutes after the arrival of Karjat Pune shuttle, came the furiously smoking and honking Alco, negotiating the huge curve at MPS! Enjoy the MPS Action of Kalyan Shakthi!

It was just speeding after the TSR of 90 kmph at this curve!
Observations at Pune Station on Thursday, 02-Jul-2015, from morning 07:35 to 07:40 hrs!

1) At Electric Trip Shed (ETS), blue CNB WAG7 # 27447 (loco of Kamakhya-Pune Spl) and BSL WAM4-6P # 21211 (loco of Bhuj-Pune Exp) and Amul liveried BRC WAP5 # 30052 (loco of ADI-Pune Duronto) as well as usual KYN WCAM2/2P/3 Engines were taking rest.
2) PUNE WDG3A # 14886 and PUNE WDP4D # 40157 were seen on outer yard.
3) KZJ WDx and GY WDx Alco Locos as well as ET WDP4D (# 40163 or # 40193) were seen in diesel trip shed near cement loading area.
Today afternoon (2.July.2015), at 11:45 hrs, at Pune Station, 11026 Pune-Bhusaval Exp was spotted leaving Pune with BSL WAM4-6P # 21211 AC Loco. Red BRC WAP4E # 22769 (loco of Indore-Pune-Indore Exp) was taking rest outside ETS. As BSL Exp was near ETS, incoming 11025 BSL-Pune Exp came with KYN WCAM3 # 21931 Engine. Also, PUNE WDG4 # 70029 EMD Power seen on outer yard.
Today evening (Thursday, 2.7.15), at 18:20 hrs, at GIT Yard, 11041 Mumbai-Chennai Exp headed by KYN WDM3D # 11470 was seen moving towards Daund. PUNE WDP4D # 40147 went inside Diesel Loco Shed (DLS). Twin GTL WDG3A # 13224 # 14999 MU (Multiple Unit) was seen at diesel refueling point in yard premises!
One chennai Mumbai train can run via benguluru Bellary guntakal y all trains via renigunta??
Is ballary pax having prblms in coming to guntakal??
Coz thats the shortest and the fastest(relatively), its a part of the Golden Quadrilateral after all!
why cant SWR run SBC-BAY-PUNE-CSTM with its rake?
why only chennai mumbai train should run via BAY
already BAY-MAS is bi weekly conected now via spl service
Actually swr take interest on ballary if possible udyan can via ballary
No prblms it gives Mumbai as well as chennai connection in one train
It seems Mumbai chennai new trains became hot cakes for ballary kurnool gadwal bijapur etc all asking via their routes

already Chennai is connected to BAY by spl....
plz force SWR first to regularise the traain and change the TT,then can ask CR or SR to reoute via BAY
Yes timings must change for dat also sr has to accept
Yes SR has to accept,its not easy for a city station like MAS to get pf free bcz this train is proposed late defnetly First come first serve exists.
SWR has to propose new TT and convince or influence SR to change TT for benfit of KA and SWR pax.
Wat a slack train???
So almost 2 hrs slack given for dis between GTL MAS itself..departed at 08.35 late by 2h 5min n reached just 12min late..
Note : dis is yesterdays 11041 arrival at MAS not today
One of the big crawler in dis route as per TT nsl mas overtakes it every week
