NCR ke Dil ki Dhadkan, Allahabad waalon ka Jigar ka Tukda!

aur CR ki dhadkan,Pune ki jigar ka tukda kaun hai Sir?

sorry my hometown falls in NCR..........
so only agra-lko intercity i can rate....
sangam is runner up for me.

prayagraj naam he kaafi hai

no other NCR train halts at my hometown.......

bilkul sahi kaha aapne,Prayagraj Express.

For my hometown Hardoi, Lucknow Mail is the jigar ka tukda.....:P

30 year before it was smaller then Tundla/skb like cities.
Its condition similar as Noida.

isme koi shak nahin hai,Lucknow Mail toh great hi hai.

bilkul,Firozabad aane waale time mein business hub banane wala hai.

lagta to he becoz pvt sectors me firozabad har area me etawah,Mainpuri ko bhi peechhe chhod chuka he....

Mainpuri toh Mulayam Singh Yadav ka ilaaka hai na?

haa.... etawah bhi unhi ka area he but Pvt sectors ke maamle me wo FZD ke aage ni tik paate..

main kai dafaa Firozabad se hote hue apne ghar jaata hoon kaafi development dekhne ko mil rahi hai.

This so called NCR star...any news when its being upgraded to LHB....interestingly I have not come across a single post/news which tells of any NCR train being upgraded to LHB?.... just how to they distribute LHB( which I believe are in short supply) to various zones? ...this summer is NCR is not getting LHB rakes?
If , Prayagraj gets LHB and is speeded up..... I would rather TT remain same but atleast one more stoppage ...that between ALJN and CNB.... one of the four HRS (Hathras) or FZB or ETW(Etawah) or JJK (Jhinjhak) should be added.
My personal favorite is Hathras(HRS)... a very old and famous town.

Sorry, par Mahabhodi seems odd one out from that list... rest of the trains u've listed are actually respected by pax of all the en route stations until/from Delhi....that is true mark of VIP train...apnay station of origin par toh har bhikari train apnay ko VVIP manti hai... anpay gali(division/zone) ke bahar bhi thasak se rahe ...jay baat!!
Rahi Maha@#odi ki baat ek bar MGS paar hojati hai..... Delhi aate aate... jyada nahi kahunga :P
Iss ko kisnay kya soochtay huay preference mein LHB rake allot karwa diya, is beyond me... ECR koi south/Mumbai bound SF ko hi LBH de detay !!

hmmm...ab yakeen ho gaya.

Only words which are reliable in your statement " direct Gaya tak"...which implies a good quota for Gaya to/for pax.....but yaha baat VIP trains ki thi ...but as you put "bhadiya"? = Maha@#odi ...no wayyy.
Shayyad hi kabhi Delhi/Gaya ye RT pahuchi ho....from ECR to DElhi...for eg. Vaishali ....the moment it enters grand chord at Kanpur...khabhi aisa nahi hota ki short distance (= more punctual) trains like Prayagraj/Rewa/Shiv Ganga overtake it.....always follow it respectfully till Delhi...but Maha@#odi ko toh 4 out of 7 days weeks either PrayagRAJ or Shiv Ganga ke baad platform milta hai NDLS par..... issay jyada punctuality to Purushottam ka hai...and that comes all the way from Assam!!

Now i'm thinking that ETW(Etawah) wiil be best option for new stoppage for Prayagraj (if and when it gets LHB rakes and is speeded up)... it has simply become politically too important place(both state wise and nationally)...because Mulayam Yadav and dynasty are prominent in Indian politics and will continue to be so for many? generations and since Etwah area is their stronghold......
Sorry, FZB walon u better pray for a miracle(=hiGH profile MP/minister....because b/w TDL and ETW aap ki toh tai tai fiss :P

but why additional halt will add.
tundla is already unneceesary.

array, it was hypothetical question based on the current trend of upgradation VIP trains to LHB , so ''if'' Prayagraj also gets LHB and "if" speeded up...2 big IF's.... most probably arr./dep timings at ALD/NDLS in TT will be kept same but enroute it will open opportunities for a new stoppage.Hence, the debate for the most suitable new Halt for this train..okk.

there are plenty such trains which stop at a station in one direction and skips it in the return...

There are many trains like that sir,
eg. 12624 TVC-MAS Mail stops at Avadi and Perambur but return 12623 MAS-TVC doesnt..

Prayagraj ko khane ke liye ALD Duronto hai :P

Jab tak prayagraj NCR territory me hai, isko ALD duronto hi overtake kar sakti hai, NR me kya hota hai mujhe nahi pata.....

Rewa is also a good train, this overtake happened because Prayagraj belongs to NCR and in NCR Prayagraj runs on top priority after Raj/GR/Shat/Duronto.
I have seen Rewa with WAP-7, WAP-4, WAP-1,WAP-5 and WAM-4.

but ac coaches are interlinked with sleeper i guess...

Recently i traveled in ALD MTJ Exp, Sleeper Coaches were not interlinked.
