yes, true, the coaches were overcrowded (sunday rush) but the train was quite clean compared to other trains (delhi bound) which were standing at pf-2 and pf-3 along with prayagraj express.
the 14055 mail, pf-2 and 12427 rewa express, pf-03, both of the trains were dirty, rusty SL coaches. 12417 was yet shining and clean whereas the lighting impact was on all of the three trains but none of the two matched 12417.
The coach in above pic is manufactured in year 2009.
14 out of 16 people have given "Excellent" in cleanliness including Moderator.
rest 2 have given good.
Why do you differ? any experience?
beside i am yet to find any train witnessing rush throughout the year having clean washroom on ALD-NDLS sector. (except FEW RAJ/DUR/SG/12581)
Long back, i missed Lalquila Exp frm GZB-ALD (cz of punctured auto..Lalquila been choosen cz 2A readily was available in 2 days notice)!!
Thereafter boarded Prayagraj Exp, confident about OT & boarding Lalquila @ ALJN!!!
CBC Coupled coach outside wernt matched wid inside situation...just it was @ GZB & toilets were in stench, broken glass..i gt to think..IR provide whtever, traveler screw it badly, while NDLS been secondary maintenance point..felt toilet wernt swiped @ NDLS even after day long stay!!
I can give excellent to AC Coach travel in approx most train,,,SL pic was posted over here whch was instrumental in my reviews!! Dunno wht u wish to highlight with "even mod"..like he been ISO benchmark!!!

most of the trains departing NDLS, having secondary maintenance at NDLS has same fate sir. trains departing towards GZB are over packed with daily travelers of NDLS-GZB. check this when it departs ALD, you'll find big difference.
My feedback was more about inside hygiene rather then just outside shine!!
Further been just overnight SF, its bound to remain spec clean, as expected, but which wasnt the case just @ GZB (after NDLS departure)!!
Most CR Coach are quite well maintained & do shine, but the feel factor diminish the moment u get inside!!
& frankly been Prayagraj, the maintenance expectation would just be @ par LKO Mail...not Shramjeevi..cz these trains get brand new coaches as replacement continuously..unlike other Mail/Exp with Dedicated Old Rakes with rare New Coach replacement!!

12501 skr arriving pf3 pf4 freight now leaves for mgs quite long x-reception.
indian railway should think to give pr LHB coaches and increase its speed.... and increase its importance and priority. .... as its is one of the quickest and largest in getting boocked....
You seriously think Prayagraj is a low priority train ? Com'on check any SF/M/EXP train between ALD NDLS 12417 is the most punctual and reliable.

Dili se kanpur ke beech me bahut kum hi train late hoti hai, sab badhiya train hai my personal fav branhmaputra mail pqwl ke chalte pakki poori seat milti hai n 400 km ki train ko one can't say the best compared to man other trains like kerala exp which run 2000 +km and still maintain schedule and speed...

Gomti ek zamane me aacchi train hui karti thi... Over a period of time bigad gayihai.. Shram shakti gomti compare nahi kar sakte..

pr is not vvip if the train runs on time it is not vvip.. ex shan e Bhopal express in an iso but it's not sure it will run on time...
the reason that pr runs on time is that this route has a lot of train
are chaubey ji aap to naraaz ho gaye.. sahi kah rahe hain railway mere baap ki nahi hai.. but aap jab ye baat rakh chuke hain do baar aur aapko negative reply pehle bhi mil chuke hain to har 6-8 mahine ke baad wahi baat usi jagah pe rakh ke kya saabit karna chahte hain? aisa vyavahaar se logon ko gussa bhi ayega aur aapke prati dwesh bhi badhega. ho sakta aap bhadkane ke liye na keh rahe ho, but baaki log to yahi samjhenge.. jara sochiyega.
rahi baat VVIP ki to agar aapko lagta hai ki PR, SK, TN, AP, KK etc. trains ki status wahi hai jo kisi aur SF train ki hai, to aapko koi nahi samjha payega, unki koshish vyarth hai.

this is the first train to originate from allahabad for new delhi the demand is quite high for this train even surpassing duronto express. extension of this train is not possible.
