It depends on the class of travel,no of coaches,etc and also sometimes on the route too.
3ac. no of coach: 4... total seats available is 94.
If WL just before chart prep. is around 10-15 then will go to RAC and if its around 5 it may confirm.
okk.. it w/l 21 right now.. so i guess by tomorrow evening it might get to single digit w/l or maybe rac if luck is good enough...

if at the time of charting.. my w/l is around 10 to 12 in 12801 from bbs to ndls, then chart preparation me any chance of confirmation or rac? journey date is 18th.

I've written to Rahul Chaudhry to include the HO seats option in his app. (Not many hopes though) Because I don't know if its a phone related issue or something but erail.in responds a bit slow on my device. Otherwise, a complete app.

Brother, a few days back an admin had a PNR in HWH Rajdhani which came down to <20 WL and even after having 50 seats left in HO, Ended in RAC.
So according to me, this should end up in RAC or in most unfortunate cases early WL.

Once a decade occurrence (acc. to railradar.trainenquiry.com) ....NEW DELHI - PURI Purushottam EXP 12802 overtakes NEW DELHI - ALLAHABAD JN Prayag Raj Exp 12418 somewhere before Fatehpur FTP !!
prayagraj is a pretty short distance train where as purushottam travels more than double the distance of prayag...so its justified...
that may be .... but I tell you....something's gone wrong with Prayagraj..,,it departs(alaways bang on time ) full 1 hr prior to Purushottam from NDLS+ both SF's get WAP7 engines till ALD....do WAP7 engines bust that easy ?
furthermore , looks like even 12428 - ANVT - REWA Superfast has overtaken it!!..something it hasn't done in some time.. fishy fishy

absolutely & I would like to tell my suggestion that it should be run as special between ANVT-PURI via TATA.
From the 94 LHB coaches made available there are only 2 EOG's till date (atleast 1 spare EOG is needed), Though 1 rake can be formed but if there is any technical fault in 1 of the EOG's then it could create huge problems, Once a few more EOG's arrive then atleast 1 rake could be converted to LHB...

As per my little knowledge I also think as per you, but in one case for 12301 ( Howrah - Delhi ) Rajdhani - for boarding at Dhanbad chart was not available till 1700 hours, whereas trains was already departed from Howrarh, and as per logic of charting 2-3 hours before departure, it must have prepared at least by 1600 hours, pls clarify

I dont think there is separate charing for Gomoh. Either DHN or TATA. So either of the cases, the chart will be prepared at 9pm prev night or morning 6.
