Howrah - New Delhi Rajdhani Express (via Gaya)/12301

sad to see the state of affairs with one of the most prestigious trains of IR...people throwing stones..dont know when they learn as not to damage IR's property:(

throwing stones....luckily we have hard glass window in rajdhanis......think of people travelling in mail/express....really sad stuff....!!!

-I heard that wifi howrah rajdhani is operational,might be closed due to some technical glitch
-Illiterate people who have no work to do, usually involve in such thing.They do it for fun,but don't think of the consequences of it on others.Its good that Ac coaches have double layered glass.

what, this is happening in Hwh Raj, then what will be the state of other trains.. This must be due to crowd as told by you they might have paid extra to the attendants for food and substandard food was supplied to passsengers.. Pelting of stones shows that people of our country have the worst frame of mind.. They must be penalised..

throwing of stones just shows lack of common sense of people ,, wifi on hwh raj is erratic ,, doesnt work in one f the rakes mostly , so u might be the unlucky one to get that rake ,, replacing veg sandwich is sad,, dat was one of the better items on menu ,, hope it was only a temporary change due to some reason . regarding no of pax,, legally , 74 pax are allowed to board a 3ac coach (4rac+70cnf) .generally any extra pax over this are allowed to travel ,, but outside the coach (i.e. near door) during peak season ,, if they hav wl ticket (or sumtyms w/o ticket,, by paying to TTE) ,, Its a regular affair in peak season ,

Its just one of case of Wifi not working may be due to some issue that couldnt be resolved. Couple of seniors who travelled in it said the wifi is awesome and never gets disconnected.

Food across IR. They are filled in the new forum from Cockroaches to Lizards to other insects being served in the most prestigious trains.

People throwing stones.. no fault of railways.. its MERA BHARAT MAHAN.. we are to respect only the "ATHITHIS" and not fellow citizens. Sad state of the country pal.

Sad to see this happening with rajdhani.....one justifying point is that it passes through those regions where there are more people who have less care towards the comfort of co-passengers.

Infact this had been my pet train while travelling MGS from HWH.I have travelled a lot in this train.Enjoy the weather and the speed by seeing on the electronic meter set in the bogiey.

Monsoon welcomes the Great PKV & The Great HWH Rajdhani....no doubt how fiercely it rains may be...it'll continue to rock @ 130 kmph...:)

Very diffciult to give live update in this train..because by the time Sri PKV writes a particular station crossed it already ccrossed 2 more stations :P

VGM to all at IRI from PKV. Got up at 6.45 after a sound sleep of more than 9 hours . The train has just crossed Tundla at 7.30 am and is presently running 40 mns late.Another 187 kms to go now onwards. Wifi here is working well

Already done for 224-5741597, but I had very bad experience of such prediction for Delhi to Ahemdabad Rajdhani, WL was 1 for 3A for last days, almost 90 % predicton was for confirmed, but finally it was WL only

Bro I am not sure about the information wthr its running with extra coach or not but if the coach is 'AX1' and if it starts with 'A' then its 2A not 3A. and he also mentioned it to be Second AC coach=>2A

One more clarification, where you noticed that its running with AX1?

At present I am having WL 2 in 3A for 16th May from Delhi to Dhanbad, thats why I am worried

Both are same. You can choose anyone. Food is also good for both the trains.

well, in terms of quality, punctuality, service etc both are good, both are Rajdhani's
but Howrah rajdhani is i guess oldest rajdhani out there, so it has it's own charm, history and fans.
implementing first wifi ever in a train in HWH raj, tht shows how important it is.
that's why you see such a patronage for it, and it is probably not wrong :)

Mumbai Rajdhani is far far better than Howrah Rajdhani in all terms like Food Cleanliness Punctuality etc and will soon also get wifi facility

I was just checking indianrail.gov.in site for PNR query and it is showing 3 coaches of AC 1st Class for 12301 on 10th May, 2013. Has an AC 1st Class coach been permanently augmented?
People in the know please reply as we've WLed 1AC tickets for tomorrow's train (Current Status - WL3, WL4 & WL5) and an additional coach will greatly improve our chances of the WL getting cleared.

From New Delhi to Howrah in First AC for DOJ 10/05,GNWL 3/4/5 will confirm,i think...

Oops! Its for 12301 and not 12302. Error is regretted.

You must book ur ticket from NDLS-HWH even if you want to get down @ DHN.If booked under RSWL then predictors & admins cant take any responsibility for confirmation.

i think 16 th may is the beginning of most of vacations summer , so seems to me its bit tough situation

VERY TOUGH....Problem is if at last moment it doesnt get confirmed you have to rely on Tatkal...In HWH RAjdhani Tatkal will be AVL only b/w NDLS-HWH..So that time full fare(upto HWH)+Rs 300/- has to be paid..So better to get confirmed accomodation in GNWL...

At present for Delhi to Howrah - in Rajdhani and Durnto, its WL > 100, will it help if I book now?

if SDAH Duronto then go ahead but if HWH Duronto then chances are less

And Tatkal has to be booked in one day advance and that to at sharp 10, else it will not be available

I don't want to scare you by saying but in RSWL quota,even wl 1 has only 70-80% cnf chance. Even i was trapped in ndls 3yrs back due to rajdhani. My wl was RSWL 1,2,3,4 in 3a for ndls to bls in bbs rajdhani. I got this while doing reservation well before 2 months bt it didn't even came to rac and stayed 1,2,3,4 even after chart prepartion. I couldnt board the train and after dep,i went to ndls station supdt. for a ticket for next first train to bls.

the chances of confirmation are less...in 12302/12314, once WL-2 didnt confirmed

Bring LHB gen coaches fit for Running we shall attache them..

I gotta agree with Koush on this one but what worries me more is those traveling in GEN might board a reserved SL coach with a W/L ticket and make the SL more like GEN.It could all go wrong.
