This train was launched by then Railways Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee. This train runs on alternative routes which are via Gaya and via Daltonganj on separate days. Dehri-On-Sone is the latest addition to this train's stoppage list when it travels via Gaya.

I think the least priority train among elite class of rajdhani trains. train is very good in demand , during rush period runs with 3 extra 3ac and 1 ac 2 tier.

Does this train stop at DOS due to the Cement Plant located over there ? My Father had once visited over there way back in the 1970s for some official work.

Yes this train stops dehri, yes their is cement plant called kalyanpur cements limited at banjari, some 30 km from station,

due to shortage of #LHB rake.

i think NR will add extra 3ac coach in this train(which is alrady thr til 5april ) so ur ticket should cnf

i dnt think thy wil remw it after 5april ,but evn if thy remw. Thn stil 31gnwl should cnf , bt if u want cnf seat right nw thn book in jharkhand exp. , 70 3a seats are thr on 12april :)

I've booked tkts in that train(12818) also for 13 apr, but I've chked the train's history for past one month and it was kept delaying for almost upto 10 hrs, so making my journey bit sound, booked in this train also

than book this ticket nd wait til 10april ,if this ticket didnt move much thn go for tatkal :)

Ministry of Railways is doing injustice with Ranchi Rajdhani Express,Why they didn't allotted LHB Rakes to this train?

ranchi rajdhani, bilaspur rajdhani and jammu rajdhani are very long because old icf coaches of other rajdhani are lying empty in yards.
so they are being utilized here.
