Even in the 21st century its quite impossible in our country for a superfast train to maintain even a mere avg. Of 55 kmph ...Look how pathetic attitude railway board has toward this train..never runs on time..reaches its first halt by a delay of 5-10 minutes then reaches Hajipur with a delay of 15-20 minutes and reached gkp by a delay of 40-50 minutes and in crossing lko and cnb the delay goes upto 3-4 hours in every single run..even today its running late by more than three hours...so railway should either remove the sf tag or should run this train with min. Delay... I don't really understand what are the factors which force a sf to run late by more than 3 hours...
This train have enough slack to recover its lost time

The delay increases between cnb jhs bcz of single line
Once the doubling of cnb jhs line is compleated the delay will be reduced
But according to IRI the average delay at ERS is more than 2 hours
And according to IRI this train gets delayed by 2hours 20 minutes at cnb
And the way ECR handles and runs train totally sucks...except for vaishali and bsk they don't consider any other train a SF (spj and Sonpur division)
But most of the delay is covered after ngp as it is having much slack after ngp
It can easily cover 2 hours delay by the time it reaches mas

Ye dekhiye bhaiyon anubhuti coach ki seats.... Ye chaand ke crater nahi hain meri seat ke gaddhe hain...fakir ke kurte se bhi zyada fati hui seat kisi passenger train ki nahi balki superfast train raptisagar ki hai..
Aur ye dekhiye icf coach me 77 seats..actually 82 hain
ECR ki train se ye expect kar sakte hain aap :D

Look at cleanliness rating on IRI ,. Is train ki cleanliness to mere according worst hai poore IR me.. And Bikaner Kochuveli is close competition in dirty rating.

The controlling of the spj and see division literally sucks man...from almost half an hour raptisagar is standing at ujiarpur for no reason and even before reaching its fist halt its more than half an hour late..

Well I dont think the railways will try putting HA1 or H1 in this train considering the long distance it travels. So First AC if available would be used by passengers for travelling between intermediate stations. Also Barauni does not attract VIP who would be moving by this train to such long distance

I have booked tomorrow's ticket in 11124 Gwalior mail from jhs to spj but now i dont want to go by that train coz the chances of missing the connecting train from bpl to jhs is quite high....Can you tell whats is cancellation charge of a 2nd ac ticket ???
What the hell is wrong with railways now a days ?? Either railways should run trains properly or else they should wave white flag and surrender and transfer it to the private companies...look at the running status of this train running late by more than 12 hours...

Bahut sahi...Reservation ne pehle desh ki halat chopat kari thi ab railways ki kar raha hai....agar gurjaro ke khilaf strict action lete to aaj ye din nahi dekhna padta...ye toh bass shuruat hai aage dekhiye kya kya hota hai..

in trains like these , tte's position is that of a surrendered victim , all he does is to collected fine , but doesnt has the voice to tell people not to enter reserved compartments if they are having general ticket . He is content in penalising the passenger. the end result is that a coach ends up having anywhere between 140 to 200 passenger in it ...
increase this train frequency , north bihar doesnot ahve good connection to south unlike patna
since its slot is shared , it is difficult to increase, but the point is trains like this should be on the radar of the IR officials as it runs full , served people from nearly half of India , and then people travel in it with great pain and it runs over crowded ..
