Another example is the availability of 12075 on Friday/Saturday and 12076 on mondays....
A new line bypassing RU connecting MAS line to TPTY line will help in removing congestion from Renigunta Junction to some extent and also trains from MAS to TPTY side can save up to 30 minutes in its run.
If no RU bypass towards gdr side ,freights RU loco reversal from hx to gdr then ru cant handle other trains ,Scr problem to run a train from hx to GDR bypassing RU, problems no proper facilities from gtl-ru via hx,if train bypass RU then crew change must in srikalahasti only, where u will load water n train if no RU?
Iam not asking here the entire story..Iam saying even with no trains bypass is der but with 3 trains y not a bypass??
Pf occupancy is issue at Tpty than RU
As saptagiri and tpty-mas intercity ext has two engines at front and rear it could be able to depart fst at MAS and Tpty both.....
Reversal of engine is tough at Tpty and takes tim at peak hours
See due to RU only it running with 2 locos since loco change needed back to back at RU n TPTY..if no RU means SR can run with one loco only:)..
Nuvu chepindi correct.....bcz of RU they are running with 2 locos....But 2 locos are more helpful to keep less TAT at RU and MAS as per Tpty staff.
And Tpty is used by TN state people who comes for tirumala darshan....but RU is very imp station for this train especially telugu people who travel to putur and her nearby places.
The acual situation is different like other intercities....

Apart from these three trains garudadri,saptagiri and mas ICE other trains reroute is ok
A new line connection MAS side to TPTY side by passing Renigunta can be laid. This will help in decongesting renigunta to some extent and reduce the travel time between Chennai and Tirupati atleast by 30 mins.
Almost every day it waits until MS DR arrives at RU..after MS DR arrived only dis will allow to depart frm RU

Why Saptgiri loco Pushed from back side ??
It usually has Loco at both ends of rake....At RU to not have reversal,the loco at the desired end of further travel will take over the duty of hauling.
