I don't think that extension of sarnath to MFP and Gondia has got cancelled. official press release of SECR only says that there will be a weekly new train between Balia and Durg. I guess, based on this press statement that there going to be two train : 1 sarnath daily between MFR and Gondia and 2, one weekly between Durg and Balia
