faced a horrible journey by this train few days back. traveled between cape and ers. journey between cape and tvc was good. reserved a side lower berth in SL. once the train reached tvc mad rush of people rushed into the coach and occupied every inch of the seats available. there were 4 people sharing my SLB seat and they never bothered to move inspite of telling this is a reserved seat. once the subsequent station arrived the crowd became even bigger . TTE never bothered to say anything since he was from kerala. since i was from TN he never responded to me properly . he casually answered saying in this train it is a regular affair. even in AC coaches railway staffs used to travel without any valid tickets. worst travelling experience . never ever travel in kerala in SL class. seat will not be yours
That's pathetic. But why didn't you lodge a complaint against the TTE as he was not performing his duties ?
but TTE's point was logical. he said how come he alone can handle such a big crowd with no RPF in the train and railway staff's are travelling in AC coaches without caring anything. i would rather blame the people who have made this train a UR passenger.
Logics dont work duties dear. TTE has to inform RPF or who ever is on duty and make these people get kicked out.
The same happened to me when i travelled from TVC to ERN.
Pathetic. Stopping at each and every Conconut tree. I never ever will travel in this train again.
When i travelled in FC in Alleppy there also few pax travelled without reserved tickets.
I heard all trains runing in daytime inside Kerala will be the same.

File a complaint at click here giving details of travel and make sure you ask for refund. Follow this for few years and you will get some refund some day (Possible of Diff. between SL and UR). Do NOT mention TN-Kerala thing though
Unreserved travellers on your seat can sometimes be very irritating. Moreover, they behave as if it is their birthright.
