why this train becoming toooo late now a days in reaching delhi. i have noticed that it starts 4 to 8 hours late from originating station even. any update on this???
Less TAT @ BGP lead it to depart late from BGP daily!!
Add more late hours on the way, leading the train been late @ ANVT regularly, exceeding 5-6 Hours!!
ANVT been base depot, require minimum TAT @ 6 hours, which again make it depart late, to reach BGP late!!
Same was the case when it run frm PNBE, with better TAT @ PNBE but still same late run!!

something must be done to ensure that this train runs on time. earlier about 2 months it used to run on time late not less than 30 to 45 min. but now it is late for more than 5 to 6 h even. i thing IR should cancel this train once either from ANVT or BGP (ANVT will be preferred) then again this train time would come on track.
Magadh never came on track, even after multiple cancellations!!

I think train should be detained to rjpb only to maintain puntuality and regain glory of garib rath as this train has only one rake

Pathetic train, arrived at mughal sarai 9 hours late, no water in toilets, poorly maintained, bad experience.
and some one in this site was asking for its extension to malda town

is the issue really with extension? bgp doesnt have proper connectivity to delhi, hence the extension stands correct and even i wd support an extension to malda town...
by the way, what does water in taps and poor maintainance has to do with extension? its the responsibility of IR to maintain a rake when they hv charged fare for it...not to find excuses like extension,etc...

Lets leave this train alone...MLD is already packed to the gills.There is no space left.And this train suffers from maintenance issues.

malda is packed with trains to north bengal and kolkata. there is only one good train from malda to delhi and that is brahmapautra mail. farakka express takes 1.5 times the journey time. bgp anvt gr extension would solve the issues. plenty of pax from malda to delhi but remote quota of brahmaputra hardly clears...

No need of its extension. instead the Ndls-Bgp weekly express can be made daily with little improvements in timings and extension upto Malda will be great for it

Ph:+919939702200Between ANVT and PNBE, its speed is commendable, but after PNBE, it slows down. Maybe it had delayed start. BTW, no disruptions on this route reported.
